I’d watch a Jar Jar movie before anything to do with the Solo character Always hated the sneering, mumbling, formulaic cowboy cliché. AND his demon spawn is terrorizing the galaxy 30 years later. Enough of Solo-glad they finally killed him off(albeit years too late!).
Ol Lucas never got over the broad rejection of Jar Jar.
He was awful!
I liked Jar Jar much better in The Warriors.
Jar Jar never bothered me.
Her reminded me of characters from the paperback sci-fi novels that bookstores used to sell back in the days
Star Wars is literally the worst, least accurate depiction of any condition in outerspace.
That said, whenever anyone brings Star Wars out I am a bumbling IDIOT. I actually squeeled when I saw that Rogue One is coming to Netflix next month. I know every character and define “Superfan”
Star Wars makes me an idiot and I would camp out for weeks on end for tickets to events. I hate myself :)
I was hoping for a Han Solo/Lando Action Comedy which would basically be Lethal Weapon in Space (but with crooks instead of cops). Seems like the original team of Lord/Miller went too far with the comedy I suppose. Ron Howard is a solid director though I don’t know why he would step in for 3 weeks worth of shooting on a film he had no input on before hand. Id rather Ron do an entire Star Wars movie himself.
Would be interesting to see how the movie turns out. Might be a total mess
I’d pay money to see someone split Jar Jar Bink’s head open with a rusty pick axe.
Sad thing is that he could have been a... more tolerable character if he’d just had some character development instead of just being a funny-talking LOLCLUMSY.
I saw Ron Howard in a movie he other night.and I really liked his performance. Our local old theatre that’s struggling had a free filming of The Music Man and Howard’s character did not make any profound political remarks as he was only 5 or 6 .
