Chiesa has two choices: Suck up the loss and move on or petition the athletic commission to have the fight overturned to a no contest.
Yes, he was almost certainly on his way to a submission loss, but Yamasaki did not have the right to snatch the fight out from under him while it was still in progress.
Stonewall 9-4

Combined UFC/Bellator
Bob 13-6
Stonewall 13-8
Impy 12-8

I guess the crown goes to Bob!
Only catch is you have to take it off this guy's head yourself.

Thanks for playing. We'll see you July 7th (Fri) and 8th (Sat) for back to back UFC events.
Such protests rarely succeed. Usually you have to just eat a bad stoppage.
lol i’ll get rampage to get it for me :)
Chiesa was pissed at Mario Yamasaki in the post fight interview.
He said Mario needs to spend more time reading MMA rules nad less time making stupid heart gestures to the camera.
"White refereed to Yamasaki as Mario Mazzagatti, in a reference to now little-used ref Steve Mazzagatti, who made a series of poor calls in his career. "
BURN
During the Herrig/Kish fight I saw what looked brown on the canvass but I figured “eh it must be dried blood from an earlier fight”.
No, apparently Kish lost control of her #2 during a Herrig submission attempt. Yikes!!!!!!!
WHAT!?
I totally missed that. Watched that whole fight too.
Wow!
good hting i got rid of my smellavision
Morning Report: Felice Herrig says she knew Justine Kish crapped her shorts during UFC fight
I’m assuming she would smell it, the ref as well.
I didn’t know this had happened before several times. Prominently to Tim Sylvia. Yikes!
yeah tim silva shocked me- but losing weight fast can really wreak havoc with one’s insides- the body goes through loads of stress- could’ve had a bit of D from it- Tim kinda suddenly dropped off the map wonder if that had anything to do with it?
