Sonnen wins by decision, he took down Silva a lot.
Vintage Sonnen in the post-fight comments
First he says “God Da*m I hate New York” then he says he made Tito Ortiz (who was trash talking him during the fight) tap out in less than a minute (alternative fact) and then he calls out Fedor in the least respectfully way imaginable, saying Fedor asked him for an autograph.
LOL (It’s all an act of course)
I didn’t even know who to try to pick in that match up. Neither of those two guys have done much or shown anything recently. Kind of like much of the UFC card tomorrow.
That is pretty funny though. At least he can be entertaining with his shtick.
Pretty good night of fights. The double knockdown was amazing! Meathead was gracious as always. What a nice dude. Loved the call for people to help the family of the fighter who died recently.
And Sonnen had a lot more to offer than what I thought. Good for him. Silva got old and Sonnen still had his wrestling skills and a good control top game.
Bellator Pick Results
Impy 7-3
Bob 6-1
Dad 5-3
Stonewall 4-4
Chris 1-3
500. For me ouch!
Thanks Impy.

Guida looked good! Wins by decision.
I’m mostly going to take a break from this card, can’t really make much of it, but I will take Cheisa in the main, and about to watch Penn vs. Siver on Loser Vision!
Very good fight by Siver!
Impressive display of striking martial arts and gas tank.
I remember when Penn was eating the blood of his opponents off his gloves. Much has changed.
This is one of the fights I couldn’t get a feel for, I didn’t think Siver would win, but I didn’t think BJ would win either. Oh Well.
Siver wins majority decision. He mostly dominated the fight but Penn got a knockdown in the 2nd round, 1 judge (incorrectly imo) gave that round to Penn by a 10-8, creating a draw on one card.
Looks like someone just got a fast broken nose. OW!
cool- was he still ‘animalistic’ in his fighting method? Or is he more refined now? He used to be a mad man- on par with Diego Sanchez- folks like guido and sanchez really made MMA fighting exciting to watch - couldn’t wait to see them fight again- hope clay is still like that?
Boetsch lands a head kick, follows up with punches to TKO Big Rigg. Hendricks (who was once champ down at 170) had missed weight by 3 pounds, clocking in at 188. He’s now lost 4 of 5. Easily the biggest win of Boetsch’s career.
Guida was in full gorilla mode! His old self. Good to see.
I still remember an awful fight he had with Gray Maynard where he spent 4 of 5 rounds actively running away. This is the best he’s looked since then.
Boetsch looked absolutely incredible. That guy is a monster.
I’m not sure where Johnny goes from here. Tough going these days.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, MARIO, YOU SUCK!
“Full gorilla mode” LOL!- love it- perfectly describes his fighting style lol
Ugh, bad stoppage, Chiesa didn’t tap.
He very well may have (or passed out) in another 10 seconds but he didn’t. Disappointing end to the night. I don’t really like Lee, seems like a cocky *ss, but he now has an impressive 5 fight win streak (and 9 of 10!).
Yep, that dude is real good. I didn’t like the stoppage either, however, Chiesa did allow himself to be placed in a very precarious fight ending position.
If you want to win, you need to do what Lee did, and not what Chiesa did.
