Melania Trump Wears On-Sale Dolce & Gabbana Dress
Footwear News ^ | June 21, 2017 | Rachael Allen

Melania Trump’s latest look is a departure from the bright look she wore earlier this week at the White House.

After wearing a light blue Michael Kors dress and floral Christian Louboutin pumps to meet with the president of Panama and his wife, she was spotted on Tuesday night wearing a black, long-sleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana dress that hit at her knees. She paired the dress with what appeared to be Manolo Blahnik’s BB pumps, although that’s not confirmed.

President Donald Trump and Melania were on their way to dinner at the Naval Observatory, where Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, live. While Melania’s dress is on sale on Farfetch, it’s still pricey at $1,498, marked down from $2,995.

Despite the controversy surround Dolce & Gabbana’s support of the first lady, she continues to wear the Italian label. Over the weekend, Miley Cyrus congratulated her younger brother for walking in the Dolce & Gabbana runway show, but noted that she disagrees with the brand’s politics.

Stefano Gabbana fired back at Cyrus and said, “We are Italian, and we don’t care about politics, and mostly neither about the American one! We make dresses, and if you think about doing politics with a post, it’s simply ignorant. We don’t need your posts or comments, so next time please ignore us!! #boycottdolcegabbana.”

The brand recently came out with T-shirts emblazoned with “Boycott Dolce & Gabbana,” to play into the heavy criticism the brand — particularly the outspoken Stefano Gabbana — has received for supporting and lauding Melania Trump.

.....”I do NOT know how she can wear all those HEELS!”.....

You do become adjusted when your job requires them throughout your workday....in fact eventually you’re more uncomfortable in wearing flats if too.... I worked 8 and 9 hour workdays in them mostly all day standing and rarely seated...And then meet up with business people for cocktail hour after. But by days end you’re ready to come out of any shoe!

I think she is one of the most graceful, prettiest First Lady's we have had for a long time... And so what if she has a belly, it makes her more stunning, at least she doesn't have to wear a sign on her butt that says 'wide load'...

She needs a girdle, or, at the least...SPANX!
Often, she wears clothes that are far too tight over her belly area and the “bump” has been obvious for YEARS!

Really?? I think she looks incredible. Were you a supporter of the great fashion icon, The Mooch then? Or could there be some never-Trumpism in this post?

Would you like to share a photo and we can snark on what you wear and whether it’s too tight or form fitting anywhere. Any obvious bumps?

Come on - she dresses beautifully, wears clothes wonderfully and is bringing style and grace back to our White House. What more do you want?

I’d bet the wives of foreign leaders meeting the Trumps probably freak out over thinking that they’ll be photographed next to Melania. She’s so tall, thin and regal looking that almost everyone will look shorter, heavier and less well dressed next to her.

I think I’d tell my husband that I suddenly came down with malaria and I couldn’t accompany him to the US!

You have a truly lousy memory; or do you have Alzheimers?

Unlike YOU, I am nor only one of the first members of the TRUMP RALLY THREADS, but if not the first to post in favor of Trump, on the night he threw his hat into the ring, one of the first 3!

You even posted to me on the old RALLY threads and FRmailed me.

I dress myself and yes, I knows the rules of how to dress...and can dress anyone CORRECTLY ( poor, middle class, upper middle class, and the wealthy; unlike you.

No, I'm not related to Rummy Chick, that I know of; however, I wouldn't mind being related to her. OTOH, I would rather chew broken glass covered in strychnine, than find out that I was somehow related to you.

Happy now? *snicker*

I don’t have $150 in clothing. But I’m watching her styles closely for when some of these pounds go away. They better be there for 8 years.

The article was speculating that the shoes were by Manolo Blahnik, not Louboutin.

“With the Sasquatch, 30# either way wouldn’t be noticeable.”

OUCH! On the other hand, that is pretty funny.

Oh yet an other LATE TO SUPPORT TRUMP/never wore a designer anything/kneepad wearing drooling sycophant.

Oh good grief...you're obviously unaware of any of my posts! LOL

Why would I be a "fan" of the hideous, FUGLY MOOOOOCH? Because I don't continually, BLINDLY, praise every female whose last name was or is TRUMP and call a spade a spade?

I don't care that she has a "belly"...she was an older mother and the ONLY way most women get a flat stomach after childbirth, is through some kind of surgery AND massive exercising.

It's easy to hide such things...either wear some sort of restraint, have a seam loosened, and/or don't wear anything that accentuates a problem area.

And just WHAT, pray tell, makes YOU a "fashion"/clothing "expert"?

Please post pictures of YOUR clothes...including the labels. ;^)

And before you decide to go off on another stupid rant....yes, Melania is a far better dresser than the MOOCH and many other First Ladies! But then, if you knew the factual history of all of the First Ladies AND the wives and hostess of D.C., you would know that the vast majority of these women were either extremely dowdy or worse. "FASHION" and the ladies of D.C. were NEVER words that went together and frankly, they were NOT expected to be! :-)

True...but Louboutin was mentioned first, which somehow stuck in my mind. Sorry about that!

I didn't "insult" Mrs. Trump! What I posted was far better than the poster who speculated that she is preggers!

And actually, I DO know more than you do about clothes and what suits/become myself and others.

Ar least I don't have to wear a drool cup, when posting; dear. *meow" right back at you.

I look in the mirror every day and wish that others would as well and actually see what they look like and NOT what they want to look like, or don't care. ;^)

“Now this dress...darn she looks like she might be with child.”

I thought she has looked that way for years. I doubt she’s pregnant at age 47.

“On her figure, that could just be her sandwich from lunch.”. So true! When I was a skinny young thing, I would “pooch out” after a meal!
