Timothy (song) wiki"Timothy" is a song written by Rupert Holmes and recorded by The Buoys in 1970, presenting the unnerving story of three men trapped in a collapsed mine, two of whom apparently resort to cannibalism against the third (the eponymous character Timothy).

Once spent an afternoon in a college bar in Champaign-Urbana with a crew of what were essentially steeplejacks - we cranked their juke box with four Johnny Horton songs in a row just to be jerks. I was surprised that bar even listed stuff like “The Battle of New Orleans” and “Sink the Bismarck”, but the response from the college crowd was predictable - that was the closest I ever got to a bar fight in my life!

Now that’s just totally bizarre (but how nice of you to include something educational).
