Celebrities keep using the red carpet to promote a group that sheds more innocent blood through abortion than any other group in the United States.
On Sunday at the Tony Awards, several stars wore pins and ribbons to show their support of the Planned Parenthood abortion chain and the pro-abortion American Civil Liberties Union. The two groups often work together to challenge laws that protect unborn babies and moms from abortion.
Variety reports “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill wore a blue ribbon to support the ACLU, while Hollywood icon Sally Field, “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” star Rachel Bloom and actress Olivia Wilde wore pins of Planned Parenthood’s logo.
Field also supported the abortion chain in a post on Twitter:
The pro-abortion pins have become a fashion trend among the Hollywood elite, popping up on the red carpet at the Oscars and talk shows in the past few months. Actresses Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Jessica Lange, Emma Stone, Dakota Johnson and singers Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus all have been seen wearing them in public.
The celebrity support for the abortion group isn’t matched by the public. Polls show a majority of Americans want to see Planned Parenthood defunded.

Planned Parenthood has been exposed for numerous lies and scandals in recent years; and in November, Americans elected a majority of pro-life politicians who promised to defund the abortion giant.
Planned Parenthood does more abortions than any other group in the United States. In 2015, it performed 328,348 abortions on unborn babies, nearly 5,000 more than the previous year.
Aborting unborn babies is Planned Parenthood’s main business, and its leaders have refused to give it up and focus on providing real health care to women. Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood leaders refused an offer for an increase in tax funding if they stopped doing abortions. CEO Cecile Richards called the offer “obscene and insulting,” making it very clear that abortions – not women’s health care – are essential to Planned Parenthood.
The abortion chain even throws pizza parties to reward employees that exceed their abortion quotas, and in 2013, it gave one of its Colorado clinics an award for “for exceeding abortion visits.”
Celebrities who support Planned Parenthood may claim they support women’s health care; but what they really are supporting is the deaths of more than 320,000 unique, living human beings every year.

I imagine anyone who has nailed as many Star Wars groupies over the past forty years as Mark Hamill wants to do everything in his power to keep abortions WIDELY available.
