Maybe, but I’d be reluctant to convict someone for a missed diagnosis. If victim came in and said he had been bitten by a snake and they ignored it, then yes.

I recall reading that almost all snake bite victims in the U.S. are people who were handling snakes. I strongly suspect he was handling the snake and did not want to admit it to the doctors, or his wife.
