MAY 11 NYT reports that two Comey associates leaked information about a one-on-one dinner between Trump and Comey in which Trump asked for Comeys loyalty. The article makes no mention of a memo, but contains information about the private conversation so detailed that it would be weird if it werent derived from a memo written by Comey after the dinner. It makes little sense that associates of Comey would remember the verbiage of the conversation with such detail, and then independently leak that verbiage without any direction from Comey himself, particularly when Comey admitted that he was willing to make such leaks only a week later.
May 12 Trump tweets that Comey had better hope there werent recordings of the dinner that would go against the quotes in the May 11 NYT article. That tweet makes a whole lot more sense now that Comey was leaking. Trump was saying to Comey: I know youre the leak, and I might have recordings of our actual conversation that will prove that youre lying.
Somewhere in between May 12-May 16 Comey, according to Comey, wakes up in the middle of the night and feels the sudden need to leak a memo from February to the NYT.
James Comey - Failed and Fired FBI Director,
Leaker, Girly Man Pajama Boy - Performed for the Senate
Puddles Pity Party - The 6'8" Sad Singing Clown
performed on America's Got Talent
Would not be surprised.
May?
So! Nothing will happen to Comey because the Trump Administration is totally unable to prosecute. Trump has to order the DOJ to immediately set up a special prosecutor to get Comey. Won’t do it!
Anyway, Comey will simply say he got the date wrong. "Ooops, sorry"
"No reasonable prosecutor" would charge Hillary. THAT was ALSO a lie!!!
It would be easy enough to subpoena the personal and business e-mail records of all who may have been involved in this.
So what you're saying is that there isn't any more evidence that the Comey memo was leaked prior to President Trump's "tapes" tweet than there is that President Trump colluded with the Russians.
It may be true that the NYT had the Comey memo on May 11, but you need evidence before you make these allegations. Keep digging for the evidence. Until then, as recent events have shown us, a healthy skepticism is warranted.
Former FBI Director James Comey may have lied under oath during his congressional hearing yesterday.
***********
Congress does not hold “hearings” to hear anything. These are staged events, nothing more than political theater. A show for the folks back home to make it appear like their reps are important. They are a complete waste of time and never produce any actionable results or hold anyone accountable for anything.
In other breaking news:
The sky, is indeed, blue
Ya Think!
Commey is a sociopath For them lying is part of the manipulation they use to control their environment. Trump was very close when he labeled him “Nutcase”.
If he ever loses that control he will be dangerous to himself and others! Beware !
So if he lied about that, perhaps he lied about Trump not being in cahoots with the Russuans too. No way to win here unless WE write the narritive and refuse to accept the Dem position. Banish them to obscurity.
So... if Trump tweeted on May 12
but the NYT published on the 11th
that means it was leaked on the 10th or before
So 2 whiny leakers identified in one week. What a great week!
This means he didn’t leak the memo because of Trump’s tweet.
Either way, whether or not Comey's testimony on the timing of and reason for leaking amounts to a lie goes primarily to his credibility. Whether he is misleading on purpose, or is misleading because he has a problem with question comprehension and being responsive, doesn't matter. His answers aren't credible.
The bottom line on this is what he admitted. He admitted leaking confidential "government property" communications with the purpose of undermining Trump. His bottom line justification that Trump may have obstructed justice doesn't hold water. He admits that Trump has the authority to order the stopping of any FBI investigation that he wants to - and he also admits that given what he took as a direct order, he willfully disobeyed without informing the man who gave him the order.
Label that character flaw however you want. I'd call it disloyal at least, and there are plenty of very harsh terms for that sort of behavior.
Comey sent Martha Stewart to prison for lying to the FBI.

Hmmmm
Curtains Comey is quite a piece of work. It’ll be interesting to see him spin this.
Ironic that Trump was trying to get Comey to have the FBI open an investigation into intelligence and investigatory leaks a few months ago and Comey turned him down apparently because he was too busy leaking from the FBI.So Comey and the upper echelon of the FBI are sitting around a conference table trying to determine the best time to leak the memo Comey prepared of his private meeting with Trump while Trump at the same time is asking him to investigate leaks. Does not get more Monty Python than that. Very rarely is one successful in getting the fox to investigate leaks in the henhouse
