More than 9 in 10 new HIV cases among young men and boys ages 13 to 24 in the U.S. occur among homosexuals and bisexuals, according to a new report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The April 25 CDC report, “HIV Among Gay and Bisexual Men,” offers stark evidence of the extreme health risks associated with male homosexual sex, in particular receptive anal sex. Below are some of its findings:
— Gay and bisexual men aged 13 to 24 accounted for an estimated 92 percent of new HIV diagnoses among all men in their age group and 27 percent of new diagnoses among all gay and bisexual men;
— Gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men made up an estimated 2 percent of the population, but 55 percent of people living with HIV in the United States in 2013;
— From 2005 to 2014, HIV diagnoses decreased in the United States by 19 percent overall but increased 6 percent among all gay and bisexual men;
— 1 in 6 gay and bisexual men will be diagnosed with HIV in their lifetime, including 1 in 2 black gay and bisexual men, 1 in 4 Hispanic gay and bisexual men, and 1 in 11 white gay and bisexual men;
— Nearly 1 in 7 gay and bisexual men living with HIV are unaware they have it;
— Anal sex is the riskiest type of sex for getting or transmitting HIV. Receptive anal sex is 13 times as risky for acquiring HIV as insertive anal sex. Can’t make sodomy ‘safe’
Sobering facts like these urgently need to reach teenage boys taking sex-ed classes in schools across the country, said Dr. Michelle Cretella, president of the American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds), but too often politically correct teachers and sex-ed curricula downplay risks linked to homosexuality.
"The CDC reports that men who have sex with men (MSM) make up only 2 percent of the population, but gay and bisexual men aged 13 to 24 account for an estimated 92 percent of new HIV diagnoses among all men in their age group. This is shocking. An HIV epidemic is raging among young MSM and no one knows about it — least of all those most at risk: LGBT youth,” Dr. Cretella told LifeSiteNews.
“These statistics are proof that ‘comprehensive sex education’ aimed at promoting condoms among youth has not worked,” she said. “Even when used perfectly correctly, condoms and lubricants cannot make anal sex — an inherently traumatic act — safe. Our children deserve to know the truth. Their health and very lives depend upon it."
AcPeds, “a national organization of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the health and well-being of children,” was formed in 2002 to provide an alternative to liberal, pro-LGBTQ medical associations like the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Texas pro-family education activist Donna Garner agreed. “Students need to be apprised of the huge risks that follow their choice to participate in LGBT sexual activities; and if schools offer sex education courses, they need to state clearly the medical, psychological, and emotional dangers of choosing the LGBT lifestyle.” Reckless sex continues
The CDC report states, “Most gay and bisexual men acquire HIV through having anal sex with an HIV-positive person without using a condom or without taking daily medicine to prevent HIV called pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) or without their partner taking medicine to treat HIV called antiretroviral therapy (ART).”
Nevertheless, despite years of such warnings as to the dangers of condomless anal sex, pornography featuring “barebacking” — slang for anal sex without a condom — has proliferated among “gay” men. Many homosexual men do not like using condoms.
Homosexual and bisexual men “are also at increased risk for other STDs, like syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia,” according to the CDC report.
Minorities are faring worse at avoiding sexual diseases than white homosexual men, the report states. From 2010 to 2014, new HIV diagnoses increased less than 1 percent among all gay and bisexual men overall. However, while they declined 6 percent among white gay and bisexual men, they “increased 13 percent among Hispanic/Latino gay and bisexual men.”
The report states, “At the end of 2013, 687,800 gay and bisexual men were living with HIV. Of those, 15 percent were unaware of their infection.”
Yeah, and the left is actively recruiting kids to become gay.
Let’s find a cure for HIV/AIDs so these normal people can continue with their normal lifestyle. OK?

According to the new study authors’ calculations, out of an estimated 4.45 million MSM in the United States, 666,900, or 15 percent, are estimated to be HIV positive. In 2013, an estimated 0.7 percent of the MSM population was diagnosed with the virus.Any teen seduced by an older gay man, (particularly in the south) has worse odds than playing Russian Roulette.MSM living in the South are especially hard hit by HIV. Of the 25 MSAs with the highest rates of diagnosed HIV among MSM, all but four were in the South. The top six each had HIV-diagnosed prevalence rates higher than 25 percent among MSM: Jackson, Mississippi (1,201 MSM, or 39.39 percent); Columbia, South Carolina (1,619, or 29.65 percent); El Paso, Texas (1,131, or 28.53 percent); Augusta–Richmond County, which is in both Georgia and South Carolina (691, or 26.56 percent); and Baton Rouge, Louisiana (1,087, or 25.4 percent).
Out of these top 25 MSAs, only five had more than 3,100 MSM living with diagnosed HIV, including: Miami–Fort Lauderdale–West Palm Beach, Florida (21,482 MSM, or 17.52 percent); Atlanta–Sandy Springs–Roswell, Georgia (12,532, or 16.43 percent); New York City–Newark–Jersey City, which includes portions of New York State, New Jersey and Pennsylvania (46,869 HIV-diagnosed MSM, for a rate of 14.61 percent, the first non-Southern MSA on the prevalence rate list, at 17th place); Washington–Arlington–Alexandria, in the District of Columbia, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia (12,606, or 13.43 percent); and Los Angeles–Long Beach–Anaheim, California (34,919, or 12.92 percent).

That's why I still often refer to it as "GRIDS" on many online forums. Much more descriptive.
That's not the half of it. Now, extremely expensive meds are mandated to try to PREVENT HIV transmission in males who INSIST on engaging in high-risk homosexual behavior. (Average at over $18,000 per year). And insurance companies are increasingly being pressured by government to provide it. Note that this is for people who DO NOT have HIV but insist on actively trying to catch it. "Medicine" for the "healthy," all on our dime.

Not sure what the point of this Headline / Story is? Blood is screened for HIV so that is a non starter. Sex and shooting up drugs would be the other causes. Are they shocked that drug use isn’t a higher percentage of the reasons for getting HIV?
Unfortunately, there have been a decent share of people who got it because of bad blood tainting the blood bank, or those who got it because of unfaithfulness, etc.
Kind of a high mortality rate for such a health and natural lifestyle.
