In the past this reckless human stain would’ve been killed for the danger he posed to others; now he’ll make millions. This is a couple of miles east of me; there was a victim at the crash site with severe burns that probably wishes the cop killed the perp. He’d caused a five-car accident earlier in the chase.
Subhuman animal; shame he survived.

I witnessed a crazy nasty chase like this. Police from one jurisdiction had been shot at and were in pursuit of an armed robber who had also tried to run them over when fleeing the original scene. They were supported in that pursuit by the Police from the jurisdiction that the chase entered. The combination of armed robber (lights out at over one hundred miles per hour) and about five pursuit vehicles passed my young son and I on a large interstate loop highway.
About four minutes later we rolled up on a crash, the robber was off in the large median. Two police cars were in front and in back of his vehicle with the rest of the police askew across the roadway. Dozens of civilian vehicles were coming to a stop. The robber was running his car, spinning wheels in the mud trying to bull-doz his way past the blockading officers approaching him with guns drawn.
I turned to my son and said, we are in the line of fire, get down, and then proceeded to weave past as the gunfire erupted and the driver was shot dead ten yards away. I was glad I stompted the gas.
