Too bad that treaty is unenforceable and Gov. Brown committed treason by signing a treaty which is reserved to be approved by the US Senate and signed by the POTUS.
Brown was and still is a delusional idiot.
Wait - the California governor had a secret meeting with the head of a Communist superstate?
Was it collusion? Did he conspire with the dictator to tamper with elections in the United States? Did he ask for help that would keep him in office? Did he violate the Brown Act by doing this?
California was a self declared Republic for about 3 weeks in 1846.

Sausalito - across the bay from San Francisco - had declared themselves a nuclear free zone.
Yeah, that's really going to work when North Korea lobs a nuke at them.
A Disturbing trend is sweeping liberal towns all across America- read of another town in NY today that is going to enforce the paris regulations on their own on it’s citizens- this is going to spread from town to town- States and towns now feel as though they have a right to ignore this president and do whatever they heel they feel like=-
No money to California!
That being the case, all of the cities and states claiming they are going to "honor" the Paris accord anyway, will have to pony-up their own money to play the game.
And I can guarantee you that the cities and states that are "resisting" Trump on this and bragging about going it alone, are all liberal-infested areas that have no money to put where their mouths are flapping at now.
This whole thing is a Leftist/globalist dream to control the world and it's wealth. It was all voluntary to the 190-some countries who signed on. Voluntary. Guess how many will reach whatever goal the elites set? Zero. None of these countries will do any more than they are doing now. Because nobody can make them. There are no incentives and no mandates. Some agreement.
Cali is one earthquake away from obscurity.. Beachfront Vegas! ...
California has been at the forefront of the rip off of taxpayers to fund ‘green technology’ - billions in government dollars blown (in most cases, blown within months.)
So does it much matter what Brown says in Beijing? Not particularly, especially with a half billion being blown to repair the damage from not done maintenance that Los Angeles DWP refused to fund (as they are contractually obligated to do so.)
Is there any state attorney general going after these government monstrosities that can successfully promise tens of billions in employee benefits but can't live up to the basic obligations of the water supply needed for their customers? Nope.
Eventually, there will be a horrible reckoning in California, likely after a huge earthquake and tens of millions suddenly homeless and very hungry (not to mention incredibly thirsty.)
He needs to be arrested ASAP
California wants to be a country as they cannot stand the United States of America & want out.
It still ain’t a country....
They are broke
You left out a minor detail
Ala Texas, California was an independent Republic, then a State, and now is making determined efforts to realize its full potential as a state of anarchy and perversion.
Their governor has just signed on to new burdens for the people of his state and few if any benefits.
Californians will be paying for this for years to come.
Let it secede. Go, already.
