President Donald Trump has filed for an extension on his 2016 tax return, a White House official said Saturday.
The official did not provide information on when Trump sought the extension or why. The official was not authorized to discuss the president’s taxes and insisted on anonymity.
Tax Day this year was on April 18. The Internal Revenue Service allows individuals and businesses to apply for a six-month extension to get more time to file a return. An extension does not provide more time to pay taxes. …

I imagine his taxes were extremely complicated, and much more so when he switched over to the White House.
On the other hand, Obama didn’t pay any taxes on most of his graft. He owns at least four multi-million dollar houses, and it’s extremely doubtful that his books paid for all of them.

What is the obsession with Trump’s taxes? I highly doubt that he is spending April sweating out his taxes via Turbo Tax!
He probably doesn’t even look at them. Few people do. Only those, like myself, who self file actually look at them. Most people and EVERY billionaire, has an army of accountants and tax attorneys.

If Hillary and Bill filed an extension, it would be a nothing burger. But since it’s Trump, this is cause for liberal meltdown and histrionics. Why does he need an extension, why would he need one, why doesn’t he have complete tax info to file, etc. etc. The liberal speculation can be endless.
