You remember right. He went to court to reverse the no-contact order, married her, raised their two daughters to adulthood and neither they nor he has never been in trouble. That’s some pretty astonishing commitment from someone whose romantic relationship started before he was old enough to vote.
Personally I hope they are together for many more years.

If this is true it’s merely a legal maneuver to get around government overreach.
I actually have to pull such a move so that the state doesn’t strip my spouse of her disability benefits (which she is supposed to get for life) when we get hitched because I’d have to be an oil baron to replace the lost value. Especially when - not if - she needs a major procedure.

I did not expect to read that statement. It’s true, but I never thought about the possibility that anyone would have to say it or write it down.
We had a coach who molested a student when she was in 6th grade and on through high school. He eventually divorced his kids’ mama and married her. He should have been in prison.
A female teacher “tutored” the football team. She should have also been in jail.
He was 12 years old when she raped him.
