David Foster, 67 and Katharine McPhee's, 33 Romance Heating Up
Celbrity Insider ^ | May 30 2017 gmt | Dylan Fisher

As the temperatures warmed up in Southern California this past weekend, E! News has exclusively learned that David Foster and Katharine McPhee met up at Nobu in Malibu Friday evening for a dinner date.

According to a source, the pair arrived around 8:30 p.m. and was seated at a private, sea-front table in a corner.

"David and Katharine were very intimate during their dinner," our insider shared. "David was seen grabbing Katharine's face and kissing her cheek several times. Katharine was doing the same to David's face and they were acting as if they were a couple."

The famous duo shared two bottles of red wine and ordered an array of various sushi dishes before leaving the restaurant together in an Uber less than two hours later.

"By the end of the date, Katharine sat on David's side of the table and cuddled him with a blanket," our source added.

This isn't the first time David has faced romance rumors following his divorce from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid.

At the end of 2016, the record producer received headlines after stepping out with supermodel Christie Brinkley. In fact, the pair was spotted leaving The Stinking Rose restaurant in Beverly Hills last week.

A rep for the supermodel, however, would tell People they are just friends.

In a recent interview, David opened up about how he was doing following the end of his most recent marriage.

"This is the first time in my adult life that I've been single," he shared with Vanity Fair back in January. "It's a very powerful feeling, but I'm not used to it."

He added, "Someone said to me recently that you need to be very careful about the person you pick to spend the rest of your life with. It's kind of weird that I'm hearing that now and thinking, ‘Oh, right.'"

Hey Capt

When the girls get over 25 and we’re over 35

We’re all payers if you want the best unless you met her when you were both young

It’s just how it is

Beautiful women seek security and safety

They can be fair weather especially today which I hate

It ain’t like in the old days when women wanted to be “good wives”

My cousin who’s deeply religious used that term last month at a family thing and it brought back so many memories

The religious concept of wife

But if you don’t have something on the ball you’ll only get gorgeous women if they are bored for an affair if you’re like a real handsome guy

Which I’m not but I’ve managed to get good looking women to breed with me and love a little anyhow

But if I was poor or a couch locked stoner I doubt it woulda happened

I don’t think this model of human existence is new for adults anyhow

I’ll give an example

My dad was an all American football star and pro draftee and fighter pilot and vmi honour court

In other words an achiever with talent

My mother we miss Mississippi USA which is a state known for hot women like Colombia is for miss universe

Anyhow

Dad inherited his dads contracting company which had made a fortune building military base structures 1937-1955

But was not doing as well in 1962

He grew it up and then hit some snags and could have gone broke

A 40 million a year sales outfit building water and sewer plants

The bonding companies were on our ass...I was 15

My dad contemplated suicide I think but his faith and sense of duty stopped him

Duty anyone remember that idea!?

Anyway he struggled and came back and created and sold multiple firms till 1997 when he died and left a taxable estate and my mom comfortable and business assets for me to run an grow which I have and support nine dependents from

Now my mom had solicitations from rich men in Mississippi which is a small place and who knew my dad was in trouble

She was only 39 and beautiful like Natalie Wood or Mary Tyler Moore

Men desired her of course

She never once ever ever gave ounce of thought to all that

She was loyal to my dad and supported him completely

She came from scratch so she got it

Preserve the wealth and just scratch your way out and she helped him

In just three years dad liquidated his equipment and worked in house for an international developer for two years on a share for costs cut if he ran the construction

In 1975 he took a check from diamondhead corp for 375,000 which is prolly about 1.7m today

Prayer and hard work and willing to move....I did my senior year high school in an new place which sucked

But my mom stuck it out like a “good wife”

I’m a round a slew of well kept fairly rich white oriental Latino and a few black women in school stuff and just where I live

Those days of dutiful women are by and large gone with the wind

I know some herr will howl but it’s true

I hate it

I think modern women confuse duty with subservience maybe

I pinged several that I know understand the good wife concept

Bless yall

Foster at the piano too! My prediction is that McPhee will be making ‘easy listening’ music soon and selling a lot of records

They are both in the music industry and she likes her men old.

Yeah, she's only 33 and 1/3.

Those of you (especially men) need to get out more if you don’t know who Katharine McPhee is. At least watch more TV.

Uh, maybe you need to get out more if you DO know who she is.

That was my thought, but I know another David Foster. He played Lincoln in the PBS drama "Mercy Street."
