While helping the past month with my daughter and packing up to move again, she has DirecTV and have watched it and there are some really good programming on there...
They had an hour program on ISIS, scared the heck out of me, they don't fancy up their programs, what you get are cold, hard, truthful facts...we need to see more of that to get people off their butts and start getting people motivated to save this Country...President Trump can't do it all by himself...
Once the "boys" took over, they began to ruin the N.Y. Post and completely ruin FNC...as the Post hangs on by its fingertips, to still sort of being a kind of, Conservative paper.
It has taken the boys far LESS time to DESTROY the Murdoch empire, than it took the "old man" to build it up to where it once was and stayed! And they are staring through a hole in the bottom of the barrel as it is.
This is NOT all about stupid lefty dinner parties...it has a LOT to do with a second attempt to buy SKY NEWS, which will NEVER happen now, due to some of the same factors, but even MORE to do with their abject, mordant stupidity in losing viewers, sponsors, and ratings in the drain of an over used public toilet.

What O'Reilly WAS making at Fox is no longer relevant. What is relevant is what he is making NOW, with just his we site.
As the ratings at OAN improve, they can attract more talent. I wonder of Hannity's contract with Fox precludes him from making appearances at other news shows while still at Fox?
But after the one year? I'm through with cable, again. There's nothing in depth worth paying for. Besides that, I resent that so much of new available TV isn't over the air. Those who pay get some occasional quality in their dramas and miniseries. The "little folk" who can't or don't get cable get constant brainwashing from the networks.
Yes, I just said the same thing to hubby today. It sure didn't take long for their "improvements" to tank their ratings. I read today that Hannity has "extended" his Memorial Day holiday vacation. And then, if he leaves, that is the end of Fox News as a "conservative" station. Fair and Balanced? Not so much, at least, not any more.
I have switched to Fox Business for my news watching. I like Varney in the morning, followed by Neil Cavuto; and then, Lou Dobbs in the late afternoon (I'm on the West Coast). I used to watch Fox News religiously; now, I rarely go over there.
It is a done deal. Rupert has retired with his young wife and the boys are in charge completely.
At the very beginning Fox News was almost a God send and it was pretty good. Having said that in the last 10 plus years it seemed to add more Liberal Commentators, Fair and Balanced went out the window. Keeping Shepherd Smith was a total disaster among others.
Now that the Old Guard has been moved out, all vestiges of any Conservatism is gone and Murdoch’s two Idiot Leftist Sons are pretty much destroying Fox, trying to move it to be more like MSNBC and CNN. Getting rid of what made it Unique.
My opinion of Lachlan and James Murdoch is that once they get total control the empire Rupert built will quickly fold and just be a memory like many past Media, Financial, and Industrial Empires.
Hopefully, FNC goes into the toilet bowl and is flushed.

This has been my thoughts for a few months now.
I don’t watch FNC as much as I used to, only select shows and more often than not, I have been watching Fox Business.
If those few that I watch now are gone, I guess I won’t watch news on TV at all.
I guess I will check out OAN.

We viewer made FOX NEWS #1 and we viewers can have them thrown to the dust bin as well..
Right now a repeat of Jesse Watter from Saturday night is on, and at 9pm a OLD repeat on Mr. K ...so I shut my TV off and will get the Kindle fired up...

Dana P. was very good as George W. B. press secretary..then power and fame went to her head and she became too “stuck on herself” and her popularity began to diminish for me.
Now I ignore her all the time...she comes on TV, remote is searched for and she is OFF...
FOX NEWS certainly has self destructed and as many of y’all, I’ve moved over to Fox Business..but it too will change with the ‘boys’ in charge...
Certainly hope some day SOON a new Conservative News Network is formed and one we can trust and believe in..
