I use FaceBook frequently for the last 3 years. Please don't post don't use it. My family and funds are suers and it is easy to stay in touch.
I post a lot of politics including my comments and cartoons.
For the last week after I share 4-5 statements ( a lot against the Clintons) or cartoons I have received the obnoxious security check boxes where you have to type in a series of letters some of which I am unable to read.
Five days ago the note said You have posted nudity. I never post nudity and two times last year a guy did and I unfriended him and deleted the posts. My grandkids visit my page. That was over 12 months ago.
Tonight the message is someone complained about politics. My reaction is FU. I sent a note to FB tasking them if people can shut me off because of my conservative views and if they blindly support those complaints. Waiting for an answer.
Zuckerberg is a lefty.

Give your relatives your email address and cell phone number then.
You are just asking for it .... why ask for a beating by using FB, Twitter or any social media.
It's just a web page.

Whether it’s friends on the left or on the right, I tune out anyone who uses Facebook for politics. That’s what Free Republic is for. :)

Have you ever heard of spreading the words what good is it to preach to the choir ever day.
I reach over 400 people on Facebook and those are the one’s who stayed wth me. many of them have never heard much of what we share here. many of them are conservatives. oi have a few libs that go back and fot=rth with me and they want to engage.
I had figured that by now, a wealthy conservative American would have started a conservative leaning alternative to Facebook. That would be the best answer. Such a web forum would need to be triple-secure to survive left wing attempts to destroy it. Remember, they don’t think we should even have an online voice at all. The Alt-Left wants to monopolize, be the only voice anyone ever encounters. Sort of the way it’s done in Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea and China.
Don’t use it. Kid stuff. Are they serial suers? Nobody needs that.

I have some good friends who do some interesting things. I like hearing about them. I don’t go to Facebook to hear what their political opinions are. There are LOTS of other places for politics.

For years...yes, years...my friends begged me to get on Facebook to share all the photos,etc. Even a very conservative friend.
I have never signed up. I don’t trust that site.
Several years ago, I was invited by friends to attend an annual marine corps birthday ball. My friend took pictures of us all..he emailed some to me, great.
Couple weeks later my neighbor said “ oh, you went to the marine corps ball!”
I asked her how she knew, my friend who took the pictures
Posted them on his Facebook page and it got to her.
That did it for me with social media...leery of cell phone pics taken of me too.
I like to decide who I want to share with.
Social sites...YOU HAVE NO CONTROL. AND NO PRIVACY.
