Not “snakes”, but A snake species through local adaptation.

Years ago I was on a plane before this movie came out and they showed a movie. Before the movie came previews of upcoming movies.
The showed the preview for “Snakes on a plane”.
The entire plane burst into laughter spontaneously.
Was hilarious.

What an unhappy ending! I was cheering on the Iguana.

Planet Earth 2 on BBC recently showed “racer snakes” going after newly-hatched iguanas in the Galapagos. Dozens of snake head pop up when they see a baby iguana and all of the snakes start chasing it—fast. They might not be ‘hunting in a pack’ but it sure looked like one critter against a bunch of wolves. Gave my wife nightmares.

Snakes hunting in packs? How do two snakes swallow the same prey animal?
Oh wait!

I don’t believe it. There are lots of reasons snakes go in caves together. Warmth and shelter, and thats where the food is. But not to hunt together. Snakes can only eat a whole creature. They are not like lions that can feed a group on one water buffalo or elk. A snake will catch something and eat it. But that would not help another snake. This is corollary not causal. Because snakes hunt in the same place, they are not hunting as a group.

Someone should check the Hebrew text of Genesis. Maybe there were two snakes. By teaming up and backing what the other one said they were able to talk Eve into eating the apple.
