Tests Reveal Amesbury Archer "King Of Stonehenge' Was A Settler From The Alps
BTW, today, the Dutch are the world's tallest people and the Japanese the shortest.
Stomped them with wooden clogs.
Indelible?
I would imagine a couple of D11's would make short work of it.
How did they cross the English channel? Did they have boats? Wouldn’t there be evidence of boats?
Perhaps, after all there were then, and are now, a lot more Dutch whores than Celtic pagans.

> Did Dutch Hordes Kill Off The Early Britons Who Started Stonehenge? <
I find that title to be very insensitive! More than that, it is a form of microaggression. The “hordes” the author speaks of were merely undocumented immigrants. Dreamers, as Obama would say.
Nigel Powers: There’s only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and the Dutch.
Geez...it seems like I don’t have to check with 23andme to find out for what must be the tenth time that all of my ancestors were murderous pricks, given to rapine and cannibalism.
Still, it’s a beautiful May morning...
Never bring a Stone Age knife to a Bronze Age fight.
Anther lesson from history about open borders
I would be very skeptical of such claims, especially from an article that notes that the 6' 10 1/2" man has things so much easier than his 6' 5" father.
Ive spent time in The Netherlands and certainly didnt encounter a large number of unusually tall people nor did the average height of men seem any taller, certainly not the women. I suppose all these giants might be hiding in rural areas somewhere but I know they arent in town. As far as short people, Ive never met a Japanese person as short as the Hmongs around here (and those all have access to the "taller" American diet).
Averages are regularly thrown into conversations where they have no place for the purpose of manipulating toward an intended outcome and really shouldnt be taken too seriously most of the time. I have no idea what that researchers angle might be. For example, the average human has one testicle, its all the rest of you with a different number that are the weirdos.
Sorry, conflated the article with the additional comments in my mind. The point remains the same regarding that though.
“incomers”
I know it is the UK, but do they really have that much of a problem with their vocabulary?
Or does the paper not allow words like ‘invader?’
“Did Dutch Hordes Kill Off The Early Britons Who Started Stonehenge?”
Proto-refugees?
FTA: There seems to have been a complete replacement of the original folk of Britain with these newcomers
Maybe they were ugly and could not get dates with the newcomers even at closing time......
Didn’t DNA show that Cheddar Man still has descendants living in the same part of England?
That goes back a whole lot farther than Stonehenge
