Behind the flag of the sword and shahada, King Salman declared, “Islam is the religion of mercy and tolerance and co-existence as confirmed by brilliant precedence. In its prosperous times Islam provided the best examples of co-existence and harmony among followers of religions and cultures.”

Good for Muslims, horrible for non-believers, who were forced to live under dhimmitude, paying the jizya and living in a state of subjugation. No mention of the hundreds of millions slaughtered in jihadi wars, land appropriations, cultural annihilations and enslavements.

He talks about the forces of “extremism” – Saudi Arabia under sharia rule defines the force of extremism.

The King cites as proof of peaceful Islam,  a qur’anic verse stolen and twisted from the Talmud, “Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance. It considers an innocent tantamount to killing all of humanity.” This is wholesale theft from the Talmud: “Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world.” Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Yerushalmi Talmud 4:9, Babylonian Talmud Sanhedrin 37a.

Here is what the Qur’an really says: Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land — it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.

First, note that this is not a general moral principle applying to everyone, as Obama implied, but one only for the Children of Israel.

Also, it is followed in the Qur’an by 5:33, which specifies the punishment for the corruption and transgressions of the Children of Israel: “Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth corruption is none but that they be killed ...

I certainly hope that President Trump's visit will put the Saudis in the world court of Islamic terrorism, and economic incentives will help, but we all need to be mindful that Islam is NOT a religion of peace.

Early on in Christianities existence there were some brutal and evil popes. Then came Martin Luther. Trump’s speach to these 50+ countries was a Martin Luther treatise stabbed into the heart of SA. Remember what Martin Luther said.

I like LesbianThespianGymnasticMidget's take on this. They know what they have done. But Trump is going to give them a final chance. We are no longer fooled by their "religion of Peace" BS but we will recognize the potential and talent of the people. If they want to avail themselves of a last chance to make a serious change, then fine, we are with you.

What was NOT said, but reflected in Trump's speech was "We know you now and this is your last friggin' chance to do very much better!"

This visit was intended to unite the muslim nations against the violence of Islam being taught in their Mosques etc.....to calm the ME conflicts....and to let Iran know the world is not going to stand back on what they are doing.

....we all know Islam itself is the problem....and those who choose to align themselves with the violent teachings of the Koran.....the Imams must be removed who teach the violence....either this will unite them to fight against these teachings or they will surely see nothing change in their lands but continuation of violence, war and death to their people.

On the other hand....this was also about muslim countries coming together to oppose IRAN.....as well as let the people of the ME know that ME power is back to Saudi Arabia. ..and they will fight against Iran to stop it.
as they have in the past.

They may end up fighting each other all the more....and you will never remove violence from their lands entirely anymore than we do in our gettos and cities.

So we shall see....the idea is the muslimm world just got the problem of violent Islamic Extremists dumped in THEIR lap!
