Pope Francis says he wont try to convince U.S. President Donald Trump to soften his policies on immigration and the environment when they meet this month, but wants instead to find common ground and work for peace.
Francis said proselytizing isnt his style in politics or religion.
Speaking to reporters while traveling home Saturday from a trip to Portugal, Francis said he would say what he thinks sincerely to Trump and listen respectfully to what Trump has to say. [ ]
Speculation has swirled about what Trump and Francis will discuss during their May 24 audience, given Francis has already said anyone who wants to build walls to keep out migrants is not Christian.

“Pope Francis, tear down this wall!”
Francis said proselytizing isnt his style....

He doesn’t consider voicing his support for Marxist ideas proselytizing?

Trump needs to give this air-head socialist Pope some schooling (in private, of course).
Yeah, right.
Apparently proslytizing the gospels is off limits, too. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
Probably a good idea not to preach .... Trump has a low opinion of Communism.
1. Frank’s got a nice, tall wall. 2. And when socialists say, “I hate to preach ... “ (both Obamas, Her Heinous, Lieawatha. Chuckles the Sad Clown) you can expect a “but ... “, then a lecture.
I don’t give a rip what the pope thinks or says. He’s so crazy he should be glad President Trump is going to waste some time on him.
I hope President Trump points at the wall encircling Vatican City and then shouts at the Pope, “Pope Francis, tear down this wall!”
Says the Commie Pope .. 100% Bull Schiff! ...
I detest this double minded ‘donkey’... He more than any one attempted to influence our election ... I am so relieve the perfect record is kept by our Heavenly Father, when it comes to the intentions of people for hire, that claim they serve Him.
True, sad to say.
