The US and China have reached a 10-point trade deal that opens the Chinese market to US credit rating agencies and credit card companies.
Under the deal, China will also lift its ban on US beef imports and accept US shipments of liquefied natural gas.
In return, Chinese cooked chicken will be allowed into the US market and Chinese banks can enter the US market.

I’d sooner buy pork from the Fukushima prefecture than chicken from China.
Another fun fact. Marborro Cigerettes have 5-machines (rolling machines) in Richmond Va just off business I95. One rolling machine is dedicated for China alone!
Cattle ranchers, according to Wilbur Ross, are cheering the decision. If true, they foresee an increased market.
Good reason to grow your own, or at least find someone who does and buy from them!
I love chicken feet, but don’t like duck feet. Think I’ll do Dim Sum this Sunday. My mouth is watering!

Why in the hell would any Chinese want to eat meat that costs about 5-10 times as much as what they already have available locally?
I will take chicken cooked in China over fresh Tilapia farm raised in China any day.
Or maybe beef ranchers will be able to make a living and there will be more of them raising more cattle. BTW, beef prices are less than half what they were 4 years ago.
Chick-fil-A
buy there
Well, I do have some land. AND I think I’ll get some cows to raise on it.
THAT’S what thinking FReepers should do.
I know what the article said, but what I read earlier today is that the Chinese can get beef AND POULTRY from the US. Not the US getting cooked chicken. But they left out the YUGE part. We are selling them Liquified Natural Gas. Russia is gonna be PO’d at that, and the US media won’t mention it.
Sketchy Chinese chicken could soon be on your dinner plate
And last I knew Trump has done nothin about country of origin labeling.
The deal for Chinese cooked chicken has been in the works for awhile. The chickens will be sent from US processors to China where they will turn it into chicken nuggets and ship it frozen back here. The definition of insanity. The first time I heard about it maybe a year ago was the last time I ate a chicken nugget.
