Well it’s pretty easy to tell how much alcohol is in them.

Twice as much alcohol for the same price? Sounds like a pretty good deal. Just put in more tonic.

I'm drinking heartbreak motor oil and Bombay gin
I'll sleep when I'm dead
Straight from the bottle, twisted again
I'll sleep when I'm dead
Miss you, Warren.

LOL! I do love a fresh G&T on a hot Summer afternoon.

I am outraged to find that there is alcohol in my alcohol. Trump must be impeached!

IIRC, in "The 1820 Treatise on the Adulteration of Food and Drink", typical alcohol %'s in gin were in the low to mid 50s.
That was an English publication, not Canadian...

The LCBO says only 1.14-litre bottles of the product are affected, and they all have a product code of L16304 on the bottle. All affected bottles have been pulled off store shelves, but some may have already been purchased.... Buyers are running to their liquor cabinets to check for... that winning lotto ticket.

There is no such thing as bad gin. Is there such thing as good gin?
What would you recommend?

Bob and Doug McKenzie could not be reached for comment.
(They are racing to every liquor store in the town to get every bottle they can before it is sent back.)

I have never been a fan of gin (or tequila). Vodka I like, but gin doesn’t go down well with me (but I drink bourbon likes it going out of style, lol)!

Bombay Sapphire is a good gin, IIRC. I’m partial to Tanquary.
A fellow I know who’s family was from Ukraine doesn’t get America’s fascination with vodka. I tend to agree with him.
To: BipolarBob
Bombay Sapphire is a wonderful gin...but I don't drink hard liquor anymore.
It makes me crazy.
So I just drink the occasional beer.
But if I drank gin, Bombay Sapphire would be my fave. Gordon's is my next in line fave.
Used to drink Gordon's martinis...reminiscent of Harry's Bar in Venice.
Gave it all up...and am relatively sane now.
Lot's of exercise and water...occasional beer.

"What makes a good gin or vodka?"
besides taste, it's how you feel the next day.
