The best thing that we do to used-plastic bottles is trashing them. A very few among us might have thought of reusing it say, to fill drinking water or to store oil or something. It’s already late for us to take action. Each day millions of bottles are littered around and most of them end up contaminating precious water bodies. 0:05 Funnel 0:24 Spoon 0:46 Squeeze bottle (w/ fine tip nozzle) 1:31 Cup w/ handle 2:05 Shrink wrap picture cup 2:33 Orange juicer 3:29 Hose nozzle 4:16 Rotary tool guard 5:06 Gutter down spout, hinged 5:47 Toothbrush holder 6:47 Camera 'tripod' / "bottle bod" 7:21 Wire insulator 7:58 Fish/ minnow trap 8:27 Plastic bottle "rope" 8:43 Plastic bottle "rope" net/fence 9:04 Magnifying lens 9:54 Vacuum filter (find/ pickup small dropped items) 10:30 Levitating ping-pong ball 11:09 Hidden message on Coke bottle 11:53 Mouse trap 12:36 Auto plant waterer 13:20 Yarn ball holder/ dispenser 13:43 Bracelet 14:15 Pen/pencil holder with paperclip tray 14:51 TP holder/ dispenser15:10 Pen/pencil case 15:46 Padded camera lens case 16:33 Car umbrella holder 17:15 Bottle + Balloon vase 17:39 Ottoman (low upholstered seat / footstool) 18:30 Bottle cap mini storage (nuts and bolts) 19:58 Bottle cap flower / card holder / picture holder 21:14 Bottle cap + CD painter’s pallet 22:07 Sifter / strainer 23:34 Round cookie cutter(s) 24:40 Egg and spoon holder 25:22 Melted bottle cap phone holder 27:02 Melted bottle cap pen (turned on mini lathe) 29:33 Water spout (temporary faucet) 30:00 Dish and utensil drying rack 30:28 Plastic bag handle 30:44 Copy a key 31:19 Pipe carrier (see 30:28 Plastic bag handle) 31:37 Giant bottle lighter 33:20 Pressurized spray bottle 35:24 Bottle to bottle funnel 36:01 Paper towel dispenser (keeps paper towel dry) .....[more]

The item I recall was women’s casual pants. And maybe sweatshirts. Nothing relating to water resistence. It might have been Blair.

My brother's dog loves socks. Every Christmas I send him a homemade chicken flavored sock! Let me know if you want the recipe! LOL!

Thanks. Sounds like the fabric might have been made using melted plastic forming the polyester blend in making the sweat shirts. Once worked in an office for a textile company, the reason for the question. :-)

Oh, he had one in the video - just one

Well, you see, in keeping with tradition, and slothfulness, I didn't actually watch the video! I am subscribed to 'Mousetrap Monday' though. It's always interesting to see how well some of the traps made around the turn of the 20th century work.

Thank you for posting.

I fill the bottom third to half of very large patio flower planters with empty water bottles—saves money on potting soil and easier to move as they are not nearly as heavy.

I also hammer a nail into top water bottle in order to make a small hole. I fill bottle with water, put on the cap with the hole, and use it to water freshly planted tiny seeds—it is a very small slow stream of water so seeds are not disturbed prior to germination.

The ideas they share are fabulous. However, I find often I must go back to catch the detailed information. I've learned to mute the tape because the music is so detracting and have yet to hear anyone speak to explain- sound is not needed.

Great info. I have many plastic bottles, always order from https://allinpackaging.co.uk/containers/bottle/ . As a rule, I use them for storing my homemade creams, making the vases for my garden or as the jewelry stands. Plastic bottles can be used in a multitude of household ways.
