Mark Shaw, the former legal analyst for USA Today, CNN, and USA Today brings a new light on who killed one of the most powerful new journalist of her time, Dorothy Kilgallen . Dorothy after interviewing the infamous Jack Ruby after he killed Lee Harvey Oswald walked away from that interview with the truth and before she could reveal who killed Judy, the same fate happened to her. Listen to this interview and hear how the JFK case could reopen and be solved through Dorothy Kilgallen's legacy
“Getting rid of women in D.C. is no surprise. Remember Martha Mitchell, Marilyn Monroe, Mary Kennedy, Mary Joe Kopekne, the D.C. Madam and her appointments secretary, on and on.”
It the M!
Somebody really hates women with names that start with an M!
Jackie had John killed so she could marry Ari.
I thought Martha Mitchell died of cancer.
I was too young and too Far West to appreciate Dorothy
Kilgallen. To me she and Kitty Carlisle were to old
and homely broads on TV game shows because they were
famous for being famous. So she was a reporter? Who
knew? Wish I could think of the 2 old stuff shirts
on WML who were the male counter parts. But I could
be thinking of I’ve Got A Secret. Some good TV, that.
One guy was Henry(WTF)Morgan, I think. The other guy
was Benedict, er something....if I gave 2 dead flies
I’d probably look it up.
I work in downtown Dallas and walk down to Dealy Plaza a couple of times a year.
The distance of those shots was pretty small. People that claim it took some super sniper to pull it off have probably never been to the sight.
And there is no doubt about Oswald shooting officer Tippet. That’s not something an innocent person would do.
Oh yes, Dick Kollmar who played Boston Blackie on the eponymous radio series. Fans here of The Big Broadcast probably remember him.
The old guy was Bennet Cerf.
I remember “Boston Blackie” but just barely. He was on TV when I was a kid. Famous for his “pencil thin mustache”.
I spent a couple of days in Dealy Plaza
and I’m sure You’ve been to
The Sixth Floor snipers nest.
It is posts like yours that keep me reading FR.
Right. Also there was Bill Cullen who morphed into
a game show host.
ROFLMAO,
!!!!!!
The distance of those shots was pretty small.
I don’t know it the rifle shot that killed Kennedy was an expert or mediocre shot, but the Jack Ruby thing has me convinced that it WAS some sort of conspiracy.
Loose lips Martha Mitchell was held down and given a flu shot. She died of cancer thereafter. The theory is she was done in.
People told Dorothy Kilgallen things they would tell no one else, for a long long time. She was a reporter with a storied career who can be compared to no one writing today. There is a TON of material, and also an entire book on her and her untimely death—she was so excited about the material she had amassed with Ruby, though, that she couldn’t keep it to herself. This could’ve proved to be the fatal mistake she made. A highly suspicious liaison she had with a younger man in the weeks leading up to her death suggest that he was spying on her for the FBI==of course, ALL the material she had from the Ruby interviews completely disappeared once her NYC apartment was “searched” after her death.
Agreed. When I toured the school book building and look down at the white X on the street where Kennedy took the fatal shot, I was surprised at how close it was. Any decent deer hunter could make that shot.
“And there is no doubt about Oswald shooting officer Tippet. Thats not something an innocent person would do.”
Except the only witnesses to that shooting said it was a man who looked more like Jack Ruby than Oswald.
