“Waters is hilarious. I don’t actually like his movies,”

Yeah. The movies are pretty sick and people shouldn’t watch them.

But he is hilarious. It’s been 30 years, though, at least since I paid any real attention to what he’s done, except I did hear about a recent book about going across country or something.

Mostly these days he gets interviewed for documentaries about weird movies and the MPAA, and he does his spoken word thing, which spawned a couple of books. It was the documentary interviews where I found out just how funny he is.

I like his more accessible, later films.

Casting John Travolta as Edna Turnblad was evil genius.
