Police are looking for a woman who pointed a gun at a barber all because her son's haircut was taking too long.
Security video captures her pulling out a gun in at Allstate Barber College on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland on April 14. Police say she threatens the barbers for taking too long to cut her son's hair. While she pointed the gun at the victim, she allegedly said, "I got two clips. I'll pop you!"
The victim finished the cut and the suspect left with her two children. Student barber, Al Pugh, says he was shook. "You don't know what people is thinking so yeah, she could have shot me, maybe even shot her son," he said.
The barbers calmed her down and she left the shop with her kids. No one was hurt but they tell me the entire incident was bizarre.
"She shouldn't have pulled a gun out. Her life was not threatened," said Pugh. They called police but detectives haven't found the woman. Pugh says he can't stop thinking about the woman's son, sitting there in the chair.
"He was just kind of numb to it. He didn't move, he was numb to it," said Pugh.
Owner Michael D'Amico says the barbers did everything they could. He's been in business since the 1960s and says he doesn't want people to fear coming to his barbershop. He wants this angry mother off the streets.
"Hopefully they'll get this lady and get her straightened out somehow. She surely shouldn't be carrying a gun," said D'Amico.
Pugh says he's just glad she didn't follow through on her threats and "POP" anyone especially over something so trivial.
"Over a haircut. A six-dollar hair cut. A six dollar haircut," he said shaking his head.
If you provide a tip leading to this woman's arrest, you could get a reward. Call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463 with any information.
If we had a dime.....
Anyone notice that the enemedia held onto this story since the 14th, and released it during the weekend of the NRA convention?
Obviously attempting to paint this woman as the typical American gun owner.
He should have corrected her. Theyre magazines.
= = =
Barber shops are already full of magazines.
She needed to make a distinction.
And, bless her heart, ‘clip’ is an attempt at bi-lingual barber-talk.
Gives new meaning to “N”RA
Poor impulse control.
That’s my kid there and I’m a Mom ‘not all there’ and this might be all for you.
Oh...Give me two clips
Give me two clips lady
and you want see hair no more...
She claimed to have a permit according to another story. You can bet that if she really had a concealed carry permit, they would know everything about her. While I can’t imagine a legitimate permit holder doing this, I suppose that it’s possible. Highly doubtful but possible.
Yes, and a grammar error as well.
She should have said "I have two magazines". With careless errors of expression such as that, she should be easy to find.
LOL. I was thinking hair clips.
LOL! Was the cutter white? If so, you’re dead on right.
I knew without looking.
I’m guessing she didn’t leave the poor barber a tip.
I played “guess the race” as soon as I read the headline.
Right again. Easy peasy.
I’m surprised it took it post 17 to mention that heh.
The first thing I would of done is corrected her. Unless of course she was saying she had two clips for the hair.
Is the woman’s behavior a symptom of a drug addled mind?
Sounds more like "cultural appropriation" to me.
The pic confirmed the almost always correct suspicion.
The barber and his shop have the clips and the magazines, not the woman. /sarc
