So, how will Freepers be celebrating Earth Day 2017? Personally, I will be clearing an area in the backyard to set up for a compost pile and organic vegetable garden. But first, I need to burn the tires that are there; and I'm thinking that my used motor oil will make an excellent accelerant.

Is it today? If so, celebrating by working all day, then will go to the kindergarten “spring concert” of my granddaughter after work, then will eat something at a pizza place with her, her parents, and sister.
After that I will go home, and let the cat out, hope he comes back before too late.
I guess I have nothing planned related “Earth Day”, right?

I usually cut down a tree, wash my car and water my lawn an extra hour. Best day of the year...
I don’t celebrate it. Kind of like Kwanzaa in this house.
This year as in past years, I decided to remain on it, and go about life.
I will walk across the street to my neighbor’s house, whose daughter is having a baby shower to celebrate the addition of carbon footprints on the earth.
P.S. I was 15 when I gave an address at my high school in Yokohama on the first Earth Day, 48 years ago. I vaguely remember it had all of the environmentalist spin. Then I grew up, which is one reason I am here and will not be at an Earth Day rally.
Spend it like every other day. Living on the Earth.
Of all the planets I know of, Earth is the one I want to live on. So thankful I wasn’t born on Mars. Or worse, Uranus!!

By feeding vast herds of cows. camels, buffalo, antelope etc mega amounts of beans and watching the fun as the left runs around with their hair on fire screaming about the end of the world

use lots of gas o n the l eaves- helps em burn quicker- better yet, throw some used motor oil on them mixed with kerosene- that’ll keep it burning a long time
Won’t do anything different. Don’t believe in symbolic acts that accomplish nothing.
If they were serious, they’d take down the windmills that chop birds up by the thousands. But no. They don’t care about the environment. All they care about is forcing us to pay money which they then send to the “poor.”
