A Moscow court has dismissed a lawsuit by Russian flight attendants who had sued Russias national airline, Aeroflot, for discrimination. The airline had imposed regulations governing stewardess weight, height and clothing sizes.
Several Aeroflot flight attendants had stepped forward claiming that the company demoted them based on their body types and attractiveness.

Sorry you flying Babushkas.
They should move to the USA. They would be worshipped here for their strife.
Used to be Aerofloozy hired only homely women for their international routes. Less likely to defect to the West.
I just want to know which trash can they’re tossing them into so I can go dumpster diving.
You beat me to it.
I wish they would get rid of the dykes on American Airlines.

And a number of them might be happy to go work at a bank in the US.
The Russian people themselves have things pretty rough currently, economic-wise, cost of living, etc.
i saw fat old and ugly and thought it was another OReilly thread.
On Cathay Pacific, pictured below, the FAs are just gorgeous. I flew to Hong Kong in those seats (Business Class) and when I was awake the FA stopped by every hour, squatted down so she was at eye level with me, smiled and asked "Mr Gamecock, is they anything I can get for you?" When I rang the call bell there was someone by my seat within 30 seconds. Somehow I don't think Cathay Pacific staff has ever had security beat the crap out of somebody.
Never was I more disappointed to get off of the plane after 11 hour flight!
On one hand, the airline’s position is normally unjust, even if legal. On the other hand, you can’t be old, fat and ugly and work for an airline called, “Aeroflot.” Too close to home.
With one being the exception, of course. (Look more closely). ;-)
Now that’s the way to run an airline. ;)
I dated a flight attendant for awhile.
She showed up for a date wearing a white fur coat and I said, “Look! An extra long pipe cleaner!”
United had such requirements until a court case was filed and the plaintiff won a discrimination charge. United was required to either pay the fired flight attendant ($16,500 I believe) or give them their jobs back, with seniority dating to their original hire date. I believe this was called the McDonald case. Their requirements included weight, height, and they had to be single.
