Pages and iMovies for the iPad are excellent. I use them both quite often.

Apple makes all of the Apple Apps free for all users on all Apple devices as of today. Includes iWords (Pages, Keynotes, and Numbers), iMovie, and GarageBand. These used to be free only if you had purchased a new Mac or iOS device recently. PING!

I have been using iMovie for the Mac for nearly ten years. I last used it this morning, for final effects and publishing of a football game video I’ve edited.
I use MPEG Streamclip for editing video, Handbrake for file conversion and iMovie for audio/video effects and publishing to iTunes or a file.
All free software.

What is up with Apple and their non-standard ways?
I went to try and copy a few pictures and videos off an iphone via its USB charge/link cord plugged into a computer. The computer sees it but Apple has made its file system only accessible via some stinking iApp CRAP.
Any normal Samsung and other phones, tablets etc offer their file system up for the taking or adding. Both phone and card memory.

The only one of these I ever used was Keynote but only briefly. I do a lot of presentations on computers not my own and I had to switch back to Powerpoint as the Keynote-Powerpoint conversion was not very satisfactory.
