The music and arts festival draws almost 100,000 people per day, according to Goldenvoice, including today's top performers and street-style stars. But every year, the thorn in the festival's side is appropriative fashion. From the overtly racist to the blindly ignorant, some Coachella attendees see festival fashion as the opportunity knowingly or unknowingly to demean cultures for Instagram likes.

We need to make sure the musicians only play music created by their own people.
That pretty much spells the end of Michael Bolton's career.

Or if Chuck couldn't play electric guitar because it wasn't an indigenous African instrument.

I avoid cultural appropriation by not reading Teen Vogue.
Now where's my Pocahontas costume and afro wig? I've got Coachella to attend!

Is this the new general purpose outrage? As of 6 months ago I never heard of “cultural” appropriation. All sorts of new “offenses” and minorities have been invented since the homosexuals got their marriages.

What a bunch of BS. The event has no problem bashing American citizens; they had a live feed with a moderator advocating no borders and no walls which can only be translated that united states citizens should be enslaved economically by threat of force to participate in wealth redistribution to the third world. But its not ok snowflakes melt because beads of other countries are not worn in reverence as an unethical treatment of another culture , while they have no problem immorally steeling equity of the American citizen by advocating open border?

Mike Nelson: "You know, they stole this music from black people."
Crow: "Really?"
Mike: "Yeah, but black people were going to throw it away anyway."

minorities have been invented since the homosexuals got their marriages. Yes they have, but the trans community is clearly guilty of sexual appropriation and there is only crickets.
