I’m posting this on my iPad Pro with the latest updates loaded. I have no problems with editing, scrolling, selecting, or cutting and pasting text in the edit screen. Have you done a hard restart of your iPad recently? The few times I’ve had such a problem in Safari, either restarting Safari or the entire iPad solves the problem. . . and doing the hard restart is best as it flushes the RAM.

How would one perform this “hard restart” of which ye speaketh? And are there any potential problems that this may cause? iPad here.

I did all of those things which didn’t help.

However, I do get the “feeling” lately like my iPad may be reaching its senior years. It’s an Air. I’d love to get the pro. That would solve my problems.... except paying for it, of course....

Question, SM, about the pro — does it have a way to work with online programs that require a computer? I don’t want/have a computer, but the iPad is stopped Cold by programs like making a photo book, making an ancestry.com book, saving 23andme “hard data” for up,leading elsewhere, etc. I’m betting the Pro doesn’t help with that, but I thought you’d know.
