Perhaps it is my skepticism, but the "usual suspects," I.e. Lindsey Graham Cracker, John McLame, Clinton News Network, Nancy Botox Pelosi, Cuck Schumer, etc. Now supporting Trump after the air-strike.
Makes me mighty suspicious.
It’s not just you.
Newbie, posting a thread like this, makes me mighty suspicious. But maybe it’s just me.
Hang on, George.
If McCain was elected, we would’ve been in a declared war, maybe with the draft reinstated.
What you’re missing is that the American people in general always support military action taken by a a president.
We really can’t run the country based on your suspicions based on who supported an action. This was a limited action and it served multiple purposes.
If you want Lindsey Graham and others to always oppose every Trump policy, we are going to have a lot of trouble governing.
You should be glad that this particular action drew their support and will have the ultimate effect of shutting them up about Russia.
The “usual suspects” never learn that nobody cares about what they think. President Trump is his own man.
Yep. It’s just you.
They ain’t supporting him. They liked the strike. As soon as Trump doesn’t do what they want they will be right back
President Trump is attempting to rearrange the the board and scatter existing players. It could be the Gramhams of the world are using this opportunity to attempt to get on board the Trump Train's MAGA expressline.
Lots of the globalists aren't globalists at all they are money grubbing whores - like brexit, Trump is good for the economy - these folks will be yeay America go nationalism. Now they have seen there is still tons of money to be made if sovereignty is retained.
God no Lord of the Rings reference ... Its like when Gandalf goes and kicks that bewitched King's ass, Wormwood had beguilded almost to death with lies.
Anyhow the sky hasn't fallen and the nevertrumpers are trying to find a way back to the trough because they know Donald Trump is a mean punitive son of a bitch if you cross him.
President Trump will probably be a bit more magnanimous if you voice a little support to having a prodigal son moment with you
Welcome to the Club!
I agree.
They also supported Gorsuch.
Doesn’t mean anything.
Most of us are just hoping this is a one-off event and that Trump has no further plans for us getting involved in Syria (except perhaps to bomb ISIS). Should Trump change his mind and enter a war there he’s going to immediately lose the support of a large part of his base, me included.
People who never ever supported him now come out supporting his action in drove.
Thus the missile attack on Syria helps restore the credibility of US threats of force, an important consideration for US nationalists and a warning to US adversaries like Iran and North Korea. For the Left, the attack on Syria marks the US as again taking up its role as the enforcer of international rules. Since the rule at stake -- the prohibition on chemical weapons -- is much in the interest of the US, nationalists should be on board.
The larger question though is what to do about Syria. News stories with vague sourcing aside, I cannot imagine that Trump and his team would see a large US ground presence in Syria as anything other than profoundly stupid.
As LS stated President Trump just gave a high slider AKA “brush back” to Putin. This is to let him know for sure that Obama is not in the White House and that we have a new Sheriff in town that is not afraid to act.

Maybe he’s at KGB HQ in St Petersburg?
Makes you suspicous od what? These vague innuendo laced criticisms of Trump are getting tiresome. How about some specifics so we can judge your case on its lack of merit rather than mere innuendo.
Trump made it clear during the campaign that he was going to eliminate ISIS. Do you think the Syrian strike changes that? If so, make your case.
Do you think it signifies ground troops will be sent in to topple Assad? If so, make your case, but in the mean time, the facts are these. This attack was focused , involved no ground troops or American casualties, and was designed to send a message that extends well beyond Syria, which it did.
Are you feigning concern for the Syrian people or for the cost of the missils?
