DONALD Trump’s dramatic U-turn on taking military action in Syria was sparked by the heartbreak of his daughter Ivanka, it has been claimed.

The US President, who had previously been opposed to the US launching airstrikes on Syria, announced that the gas attack could not be tolerated and ordered the 59-missile bombing of an airbase involved in the fatal chemical assault.

Well, it helps in giving benefit of the doubt. And she hasn’t just sat at home, being active in business.

Her true beliefs and the scope of her influence aren’t yet clear to me.

I will admit that learning that she and Jared had Jamie Gorelick on retainer bothered me, though.

Thanks for posting this. It can serve as a reminder to the gullible FReepers amongst us who may forget that ISIS & Al Qaeda are not the least bit reluctant to commit atrocities to advance their agenda. Those atrocities include using women, children & BABIES of their enemies to present as victims of atrocities committed by the Islamists’ enemies such as Assad.

I don’t rule out that this was a possible source of the videotaped victims of the recent chemical “attack”.

I haven't "accepted" anything. I was referring to a published comment from Jamie Gorelick about her legal advice to Ivanka Trump. That's hardly a "gossip statement" at all -- is it?

I also think that comment reflects worse on Gorelick than it does on Ivanka Trump. What kind of lawyer would tell someone they have an irreconcilable conflict of interest between two different positions they hold -- and then NOT advise the client to step down from one of the two positions?
