I have to rake last year’s leaves first...and my arm is in an immobilizer (tendonitis), so I have to wait.

Or perhaps to get some strapping youth to do it for me.

Before we were into gardening and compost, hubby just ran over all the leaves while mowing. He used to tell me that the leaves needed to stay where they were for nutrients-his big excuse for NEVER raking leaves in the fall or spring. LOL

Should have added that he has a leaf sucker upper thingy now, so the bag gets filled, and he then dumps it into the compost.
