Trump Admin/Republicans thump opponents big time on April 6, 2017
April 7, 2017 | Vanity

Posted on 04/07/2017 7:53:49 AM PDT by topher

Donald Trump and his Admin won decisive battles yesterday.

The liberals in the Senate thought they were playing hardball with Mr. Trump and the Senate Republicans. They were playing softball very badly and were burned by getting nuked. A message was sent. Period.

But then President Trump used yesterday (with all the news diversions going on) to put Syria and Russia in their place with the missile attack on a Syrian airbase (containing chemical weapons). A grand slam home run was hit here. Seven aircraft destroyed and big holes left in the runway at this air base.

And with Syrians cheering on this US attack on Dingbat Assad.

But now let us rewind to the 1980's when the US attacked Libya (and tried to kill its leader with a bombing raid). The Libyans were behind a nightclub bombing in Germany that killed US Servicemen. Ronald Reagan was president, and the Soviet Union backed down for this attack, and pulled its Navy from Libya and told its pilots to stand down.

The Soviet Union at that time had the Eastern bloc to back it up.

What does Russia have today? The Ukraine is very upset with Russia, and would not back Russia today. Parts of the Eastern bloc with some members now part of NATO. Turkey is upset with Russia shooting down its jets in Syria.

Russia has more enemies these days than Putin would like to admit to. Russian retaliation for the US missile attack? Not likely. The US has bases in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Turkey to back its play. President Trump also met with the Egyptian leader this week. Putin is in a very weak position and may want to cut its losses.

But finally there is China. The Chinese President is visiting the US. So the US Intel community can listen in on the Chinese President's conversions with those back in China.

And on April 6, 2017, President Trump sent a very strong message to China and North Korea.

So April 6, 2017 was a WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN day for President Trump, Republicans towing the line, and the American people.

Sounds like America is starting to be very strong and on the way to becoming great again after the DINGBAT presidency of Obama.

And the Trump Administration has been squarely putting the blame on DINGBAT Obama for the Sarin attack in Syria because that idiot was such a weak president, and has said so in the press.

Maybe that was a little WIN as well. But the incompetence and stupidity of Obama has hurt the American people.

North Korea is next. Period.

And some issues with Congress may go smoother now that liberals are shown to be the losers they are.

Why not contact the author of the article and inquure? The author obviously knows far more about Syria than I do.

Meanwhile, I asked for your source re ISIS cheering the Tomahawk missiles. I’m patiently waiting.

ISIS is fighting Assad.

Are you so clueless you don’t know that?

Btw, I confused your reference to the ‘poster,’ with a reference to the author of an article I linked on another thread. This author, too, says Syrians are cheering:

The only Syrians cheering us bombing Assad are ISIS.
My opinion.
Just as valid as the OP’s.

No, no. To improve our roads and bridges.

Well, maybe not out roads and bridges, but the pensions and benefits of those who improve our roads and bridges.

Well, maybe not those who improve our roads and bridges but those who are hired to work on our roads and bridges.

Well, maybe not those who are hired to work on our roads and bridges but those Unions who those who work on our roads and bridges are forced to join.

So there is no link/source, just childish, idiotic insults.

Trump has vowed to annihilate ISIS. Are they stupid enough to cheer over this object lesson in Trump’s willingness to attack for what he sees as a just cause? If I’m ISIS and I observe 47 Tomahawks wreaking destruction ***at the command of the very person who has vowed to destroy me***, the last thing I do is cheer. The first thing is say, ‘Uh oh; I’m next.’

The way I figure it, if those 4 Syrian children killed in the missile raid didn’t want to get killed, they shouldn’t have been children in Syria, amiright?

One U.S. attack is not enough, says Syrian opposition [ISIS]

Reuters ^ | April 7, 2017 | By Ellen Francis and Tom Perry

The Syrian opposition [ISIS] applauded a U.S. cruise missile attack on an airbase near Homs on Friday but said it must not be a one-off and was not enough on its own to stop government warplanes from hitting rebel-held [ISIS] areas.

“One airbase is not enough. There are 26 airbases that target civilians,” tweeted Mohammad Alloush, a senior rebel [ISIS] official. George Sabra, a prominent [ISIS] opposition politician, told al-Hadath TV. “

“We view that the responsibility of the United States is still great, and does not stop with this operation,” it added in a statement, warning that the Damascus government and its allies could commit “acts of revenge” against civilians.

The individual quoted in your excerpt doesn’t sound like he’s expecting to be the next person to be blown to smithereens by a Tomahawk. If he’s really ISIS, then he must have an IQ of 60, such that he can’t fathom being the target of a future Trump-authorized bombing run.

I think more than anything, this was a political move for the President to get some support from people and nations that have been against him for two years. Now maybe they won’t fight him so hard. If dropping some missiles on a mostly evacuated airbase(because we warned them) helps him get things done, then so be it. He has done a lot of good things already but people forget so easily. He doesn’t need us right now. We can’t help him at this point and we can’t take our votes back so I think he’s doing what he thinks he needs to. He needs DC and other nations to get off his back and start cooperating with him. I was surprised how many nations approved of the strike. Most really. And pissing off Putin, perfect. He may have just prevented his impeachment over the fake Russia/Trump ties.

If Schumer and Pelosi like this action, this attack was almost certainly a bad idea.

the missile attack on a Syrian airbase (containing chemical weapons)

So how do you know that???

Zerohisseff testified certified and solemnized the HE MADE Assad destroy ALL chemical weapons. [Yeah I KNOW he was an absolute liar...but jeez...the story should at least have a semblance of internal logic.]

So Assad, with ISIS on de ropes and world opinion muted, decides that it would be a good time to launch a chemical attack. And kile many many cheerens.

Now, the ole Adder knows there be some krezy mofos over there. But this one just be a puzzler.

Mean time, Hitlery goes and demands that the US bomb an airfield or something like that and LO! it was so.

Think deep state might have tipped her off that that was the plan????

Meanwhile my man DJT is getting kushnered: making globalist choices like he said he would not do. Hey! Whats up with that?

Do you know the history of the Korean war? China is willing to make immense sacrifices to keep North Korea as a buffer between them and the US army in South Korea. They will not be intimidated by Trump’s idiotic attack on Syria at all. Instead, they will strengthen North Korea.

The likely outcome of this action is to strengthen Chinese and Russia military cooperation.
