I have been saying this for over 20 years—if you want to have NO CLUE what is going on, read a newspaper or watch cable news. It has gotten much worse—

The way they lie, spin, obfuscate is so blatant and glaring it is truly evil.
As I watch there is a Bible verse always pops up in my mind—Psalm 2 V 1-
“ Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing?”

The press is by nature, and supposed to be, a bunch of partisan lying hacks. It's up to the people to decide "the truth" when faced with nothing but lies. The notion that the press has some duty to the truth is a self-serving myth perpetrated by the liars.
