So did they oppose Ryancare cuz it sucked or to hurt Trump? Do people like Mo Brooks really want to simply repeal or is he just bluffing and throwing us red meat knowing it wont go anywhere? People are all over the map on this and the only way we can continue winning is to be unified. I am noob and pretty uninformed on individual voting records etc. But like everyone else here I want as much of obamacare as possible GONE ASAP. I would appreciate feedback on the best strategey on achieving this goal
Full repeal or bust!
There are some of both in it, but their overall intent is good.
It’s up to Ryan to represent them and bring a bill forward for a vote. This is a fault of Ryan.
Trump is simply working with the best of what is offered.
We didn’t elect a ‘true conservative’ president - we elected Trump. These ideologues need to come down from (or get knocked off) their high horses and do what’s best for the country - and quit telling us by their actions that they know better than we do.
Full repeal is what is best for the country.
I support the Freedom Caucus. As far as stopping Obamacare, all funding starts with the House. Just saying.
The saboteur is Paul Ryan who FAILED to bring forward a bill to repeal ACA.
So let me see if I get this: In Trump’s world, 29-30 House Freedom Caucus members are the problem, but the 160 or so RINOs are no problem? Hmmm, the numbers don’t add up!
I think Trump needs to rethink these stupid attacks on the FC. If he’s being advised to do this, he needs to do some more firings! He’s fracturing his base for these stupid Twitter attacks on the FC!
That bill would have been terrible for President Trump - the Freedom Caucus did the right thing and most support President Trump.
It will have to be BUST, because there is no way in Hell the Ruling Class will repeal, repair, or Replace Obamacare if there is a President that will sign it into LAW.
When and ONLY WHEN Government Lives under the Same Laws as us will anything substantial happen

OBAMACARE Can be Saved!!
There are about 22 MILLION Public Employees Nationwide that are Ineligible for Subsidies, this infusion of New Paying Customers will SAVE OBAMACARE. the SEIU and every other Public Employee UNION fully Endorse Obamacare and have held numerous rallies in support thereof.
Lets Give them what they want!
I believe our Public Employees deserve the Best Health Care America has to offer, and that is the Official Government Health Care Plan, Obamacare. So why dont you quit pussyfooting around and Proudly Proclaim your desire to see that ALL Federal Employees receive the Finest, Most Affordable Health Care the US has to offer, OBAMACARE.
All the Money currently wasted on these inferior high priced cadillac plans can be diverted to the Wall.
There is ONLY ONE WAY to make it happen:
Executive Orders or Legislation, the chance of CONgress doing it are the same as OJ Confessing, so I am choosing Executive Orders.
1. All waivers to the Affordable Care act are hereby repealed.
2. There shall be NO funds drawn from the treasury to pay for Health Insurance for ANY Federal Employee except Members of the Armed Services.
3. ALL Federal Employees except members of the US Armed Services, SHALL purchase their own personal and Family Health Insurance from the Affordable Care Exchange in the state they legally reside.
4. There shall be NO Medicaid Reimbursement funds allocated to any State that does not have 100% of their Public Employees enrolled in the Affordable Care Act.
And to make sure it is Bipartisan, President Trump should VETO it every Time and FORCE them to Override his Veto to Repeal this Monstrosity.
Sign these 4 orders and it will be FULLY REPEALED in Less than 30 days.
NOT UNTIL, Anyone want to make a BET???
When and ONLY WHEN Government Lives under the Same Laws as us will anything substantial happen
They are Saboteurs.

Since when is any Federal oversight of Healthcare an enumerated power?
Anything other than full repeal without replacement will irreparably damage our country, and the so called "pragmatists" need to take advantage of the opportunity we have to do this, i.e. full repeal via the "Reid option".

I am afraid the problem for Trump is that he relies too much on Ivanka and Jared, who seem more Rino than classically Conservative.
All I know is this.
The GOP, in charge of all three branches of government, is unable to do anything.
Houston, we have a problem.
The people pushing Ryan’s bill are the same people who pushed “Gang of Eight” amnesty - the American Action Network.
Its going to be bust.
They dont care. NOT ONE of them cares.
I do not blame the POTUS one bit for any of this since he reached out to everyone but the democrats on that bill.
We will NEVER see tax reform, funding for border security, immigration, or anything, as long as the present group inhabit the halls of congress.
If the FC submits a bill the moderates will oppose. We already saw that the FC apposed a bill from the moderates...or rinos as they are known.
That leaves the democrats. I expect them to regain the majority in 2018.
Until then, its rule by EO.

While I have nothing to confirm it, other than their party affiliation and friends, I’m afraid you might be right. Blood is thicker than any voter, and he would never say no to his little girl.
Now it looks as if he’s going to refugee arrivals are also going to be going back up to Obama levels...unless this “Fake News”?

And I’ve grown absolutely weary hearing about his brilliance and 3-D Chess moves. I’m not seeing it.
I couldn’t have said it better. Sometimes you have to start the process with what is most easily done. Modifications can occur later on. The idea is to create and maintain a momentum of victory and progress. That momentum has hit a pothole for the moment.
While there are a few members of the Freedom Caucus who were/are not Trump supporters, most FC members did, in fact, support Trump. None of them opposed Trump to the extent that Paul Ryan did and there is some evidence (not conjecture) that Ryan actually worked with the Clinton campaign to oppose Trump. With that in mind, Ryan is the Speaker and Trump has to work with him; I just don’t think he should consider Ryan a bona fide ally and blame everything on the Freedom Caucus.
One thing that continues to bother me is that, among Trump supporters - of which I am one, there seems to be almost absolute refusal to lay any blame whatsoever at Trump’s feet. Trump sided with Ryan on a bill that was prepared in Nancy Pelosi fashion (in secret) and placed on a completely unrealistic legislative schedule intended to conclude on a strict up or down vote with no debate and no amendments. Furthermore, that bill did not, in any sense, repeal or replace Obamacare; that was to come later in Phases II and III. I can’t imagine that anyone - Democrat or Republican - thought there was a snowball’s chance in hell of seeing Phase II, but especially Phase III, of what would have saddled Trump and the Republicans with what was being called “Obamacare Light” or “Trumpcare”.
I don’t happen to think that a clean repeal of Obamacare is going to happen. Prior votes on repeal were simply eyewash and intended to garner votes. Although I don’t think the federal government should have a damned thing to do with health insurance, there are plenty of good ideas that would replace Obamacare with something far less objectionable, but they can only be implemented through a deliberate legislative process.
As for the president, he’s capable of making a mistake and I happen to think depending on Ryan - a sworn enemy as of a few months ago - to accomplish his legislative initiative and siding with Ryan against the FC - most of the members of which actually supported the president - was and is a major mistake.
