Great points. Nebuchadnezzer was left to live and scratch away in the fields with the wild beasts (RINOs?) "till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will."
Trump towers are nothing but Legos in the big scheme of things. I think DJT is sincere, but this is no Lego project, and he's not in charge.
Check Daniel 4 and compare to:
"T" is for "tree" (and Truth and Trump)
Daniel 4:10-11 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. 11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
No accident that his election was made official (and the Establishment brought down) on the Feast of Epiphany. There is a lot to the date besides that detail, so
I choose popcorn over panic. :)
I think Trump is doing the best he can. I also think he was wrong on Ryancare.
As for folks listening to God or not, it’s not always as easy as that. Only the very astute religious person will know what God truly wants, and even then they’ll make mistakes from time to time. We are not perfect. We will not get God’s true intent perfectly.
At times it will seem like we are doing right when we aren’t.
I don’t want the government involved with normal health care provision for the middle and upper class.
Those groups should purchase their own policies without government interference.
Different people will have different opinions on how that’s going to be done best.
I support folks doing things in accordance with our Constitution. While I think it would be wrong not to come at it from that angle, I don’t see it as an affront to God, a purely evil act.
Do I think it is evil? In a way I do, but I see it as more of a mistake than downright intentional evil. The government should not be involved here, and taking money from Peter to pay for Paul’s care is wrong.
I’m not sure I’d call on God here to put a guy down over it.
