FULL TITLE: Three teenage burglars are shot dead by homeowner's son, 23, with an AR-15 after they burst in to Oklahoma house wearing masks and carrying a knife
Three masked teenagers who broke into a home in broad daylight were shot dead by a 23-year-old man living inside.
The intruders, who were dressed in all black and wore masks and gloves, entered the residence in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, before the homeowner's son confronted them with a rifle and opened fire.
The suspects, said to be ages 16, 17 and 18, all died at the scene. One was armed with a knife while another carried brass knuckles.
An investigation is ongoing. Police say the 23-year-old appears to have acted in self-defense.

They were only trying to earn money for college.
But I thought it was common in all jurisdictions, for people involved in a crime where someone was murdered, that they too could be charged with murder as an accessory.
This story had a happy ending. Bad guys are dead. Fat girlfriend get-away driver is charged. Good guy defends himself and his home.
It’s similar in other states, a murder occurred in the commission of another crime. Doesn’t matter who committed the murder, perp or victim, and she was fully involved as the getaway driver. Personal knowledge of similar case in NJ, one person was not even on the scene, just helped to plan the crime, then one of the robbers was killed by homeowner..person got 5 yrs.
If she tripped running down hill, she could roll for miles.
And looks to be about that wide.

Felony murder law. A couple of years ago I was going into a Lowes store here in Oklahoma. Just as we were entering a man came running out with 3 DeWalt drills, jumped into a car driven by a woman and sped off. The car was a little out of control when it raced off and swerved several times. If the getaway car had struck and killed someone both thieves could have been charged with Felony murder, death of anyone that results from committing a felony.
