“tvOS 10.2’s enhancements include accelerated scrolling in apps, support for the Device Enrollment Program, and better mobile device management in general,” Rpger Fingas reports for AppleInsider. “It should also offer VideoToolbox, a framework that lets developers tap into hardware-accelerated encoding and decoding.”
“watchOS’ new SiriKit support should expand the voice commands an Apple Watch supports to third-party apps, for instance letting people send a message or hail a ridesharing service,” Fingas reports. “The Theater Mode kills sound and disables raise-to-wake, preventing a Watch from becoming an audience distraction.”

Will it push gmail notifications to smartwatches yet?
Will it fix the utterly obnoxious iOS auto-correct??
You can turn off autocorrect. I normally keep it off because I prefer to make my own mistakes, but this thing with smartwatches gripes my gonads.
I can get Facebook updates, sms messages, and phone call notifications from my watch, but not email. What’s with that? Seriously. I’m near deaf, so I want/need the gmail notifications for work.
Oh, and it should be noted that Android devices do support the gmail push. So I guess it’s just a matter of Apple giving a big FU to the other guys again.
Sigh...
Thanks but I do not really wish to turn off auto-correct, though I would actually like one that worked well.
Apple auto-correct is among the most clunky of its basic functions and also one of the least functional in the market.
