“an old movie, maybe from 60’s or 70’s”

If it’s from the 1910s-40s, it’s an old movie in my book.
:D
One of my favorite movies.
Chevy chase modern problems maybe.
-John Wayne was a fag
-THE HELL HE WAS
-He was to you boys. I installed 2 way mirrors at his pad in Brentwood and he came to the door in a dress
How about ‘INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS” Kevin McCarthy in the 1950s and
Donald Southerland in the 1970s
This movie had both options, trucks and trunks. The alien life form was pods grown by local farmers in California. ie- okra.

It should probably disturb that I can rattle off the plot and some lines from these episodes, but it doesn’t...
(By the way, not shown in your pic - but Spock is standing on Kirk’s back to reach the light bulb and Kirk is telling him to hurry up because the guards did “a professional job” whipping his (Kirk’s) back.)
I’m listening to Iggy Pop right now, Repoman introduced me to his music. And then via his music to my wife. So even if I didn’t love Repoman I’d love Repoman.
And generic labelled “Food”.

Was there a night scene, with a house at a beach maybe, where a man (the bad guy?) opened the box...the good guy was a ways off down the beach, and there was a bright light that emanated from the house...killed the guy that opened it...or maybe killed a woman?
I seem to remember an old movie with that in it.
Starman?
Jeff Bridges plays the alien who cloned himself into human form with a lock of hair into a dead guy. He gets picked up by an older fella in pickup truck to help him get to New Mexico.
Chips. Beer. “Isn’t it time you had a Drink”. Part of what I love about the movie is the layers. Here’s one that it took my a few times to notice: everybody who works at for the repo company Otto hooks up with (except Marlene, who is also working for the competition) is named after beer: Oly owns it, Bud finds Otto, Lite is the cool black guy, and Miller working the yard.
