All very nice. But islam was, is and always will be based on conquest.

Most of Islam’s “achievements” were made by the Ancient Greeks, Ancient Romans, Ancient Chaldeans and Ancient Indians. Islam invaded lands, conquered lands and translated some of the books that they did not burn.
Very little real advancement came from Islam.
When the rewrite the Koran I will rethink their sincerity. That of course will never happen.

Heard somewhere that the whole islamic world currently produces less book each year than Belgium.
Whatever it (supposedly) glorious past, I don’t see how it has a chance to catch up with any civilised world.

of Vienna STOOD FIRM and STOPPED THEM with the only actions
they could understand. We owe a debt of gratitude to those

Balderdash. Islam only confiscated knowledge from other societies. Nothing if their own ever. Current Islam is jihadist first last and always
They made some pretty buildings and messed around with algebra once. After that, nothing. Meanwhile the Jews (those pigs and dogs) keep on making major contributions to science, art, music, medicine, etc.
