I saw it and chose not to address it. I don’t have any axe to grind with you. You’ve seen the light and what’s the use of dredging it up now.

You may not realize it, but there are still folks here who are salivating at the thought of Trump failure.

The man has already done more for us than Bush did in eight years. None the less, they can’t see it and are desperate to find a wedge issue that proves them right and us wrong.

Let’s recap a bit here.

The NeverTrump folks never campaigned for Trump. They never talked him up here or more importantly to family, friends, and associates. They trash-talked the guy to anyone who would listen, and many who wouldn’t.

Is that long forgotten? For a lot of folks it is, but here is the real kicker.

Trump lost the popular vote. He was a few million votes shy of kicking Hillary Clinton’s ass with the popular vote.

How does this figure in? What’s the big deal about that now?

The Leftist movement capitalizes on the idea that Hillary really won the election. That’s not how our system works, but when you give the other side ANY EXCUSE AT ALL, they will run with it, and many people will be led astray.

We had NeverTrumpers trashing Trump right up until election days 2016. How much did that suppress Trump’s total vote count?

Today we have the Leftists on Campuses and on the streets capitalizing on this. We have the MSM capitalizing on it. We have people on Capital Hill capitalizing on it.

Trump is considered by many to be an illegitimate president.

Folks, we are always going to have crazies out there, but must we give them so much help?

The NeverTrump movement played up every comment that Trump was not better than Hillary. When folks said they had no real choice in 2016, they smirked. When it was said Trump was not really qualified to be president, they agreed.

So now we find ourselves in a Constitutional Crisis, the Judicial Branch emboldened to stand up to Trump on matters they don’t have the authority to adjudicate. Why? Because they see Trump as being in a weak position.

If he had gotten 53% of the popular vote and 347 electoral votes, these judges wouldn’t be pulling this routine.

There wouldn’t be anything near the negative onslaught that has taken place. European leaders would not be banding up against “the most unpopular president ever”.

So that’s why all the “let’s let bygones be bygones” NeverTrumper ideas that float in over the transom, are DOA with me.

We are paying a very heavy price for a bunch of fools who wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t study up for themselves, and remained the enemy of what Trump is now trying to get done over so many objections.

So yes, some of us haven’t forgotten yet. We haven’t because we can see the down-side to the NeverTrump movement each and every day. We’ll likely see it for the next four years.

Congrats folks. You fought us every step of the way, and now you want us to act as if you didn’t, while the hits just keep on coming, even on this forum at times.

I’m not singling a single one of our out. EveningStar, I don’t follow you around giving you a hard time. I don’t follow anyone else around doing it either. When the issue is raised, I address it head on.

We are still reaping the whirlwind.

So when public figures try to act as if they’ve been my good buddy for a long time, when they were NeverTrumpers to the extent they could be, I call them on it.

Glenn and his buddies hurt our cause more than many want to admit.

We didn’t have to go through this period of discontent we are going through, at least not to this extent.

NeverTrumpers made it happen.

Did they do all of it? No, the Leftists would have been a problem to a certain extent anyway. That is obvious this time around.

Will this impact the amount of things Trump can address and get done. I think that is likely. He is a very capable man, just like we said he would be, and he will power through much of it, but he shouldn’t have to.

Thanks for being frank, and I would not single you out for criticism. This is not focused on you, but it is a dynamic we’re having to deal with as a nation.
