Naming winter storms is BS. Historically winter storms were always referred to by their date.
On a few weather sites. This one says it’s starting as rain/snow then by 11am it will be rain. It don’t look like 24 hours of snow to me like they were saying

Who ever thought we would hear advice about taking shelter in Buffalo FROM the snow?!

Wow, it’s never snowed on the East Coast before.
I stopped in to see my boss today. He just moved to Baltimore and this will be his first bout with Baltimorons and bad weather.
I warned him that everyone gets scared and stupid. Stores are already emptied of toilet paper, milk and bread.
Apparently these people don’t realize the snow will be melting by Thursday. I haven’t cancelled my weekend camping plans.
We are under a blizzard warning here in Bucks County Pa.

Here’s hoping your power does not go out, and all goes well for you. We have relatives near Hartford, CT. Looks like they are expecting 1 to 2 feet there, starting early tomorrow.
Come on over. I finally caved and put on the AC today. It’s bleeping hot.
The snow itself will not be that critical, it will be the subsequent flooding with the snow melt that will achieve the most catastrophic part of this severe weather.
