RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) A bizarre scene of a group of wild turkeys walking in a circle around a dead cat was caught on video by a Massachusetts man who perhaps best described it: an attempt to give the feline its 10th life.
Jonathan Davis came across the fowl play in the Boston suburb of Randolph Thursday. He posted a video on Twitter that he says was viewed a half million times by the late afternoon.
The recording shows what appears to be 17 turkeys circling the cat.

Being southern were generally armed in vehicles
Since 1975 I’ve mercy killed roadside probably a dozen critters from deer to dogs to one cow
Deer know when they see the gun and bless their they struggle to drag themselves away
Dogs are clueless
Cow as well
It’s a nasty business but it’s the right thing to do if you can
A bleating doe or a squealing panicked dog I just can’t bear it if I can put them out
.54 muzzleloader and .357 revolver and once a .45 long colt
In front of crying soccer moms
A gruesomely hit boxer in front of a beautiful mom and her kids in a rich part of town
I had her shield the kids and wrapped the dog in a old blanket and put it in the back of their Benz
It was awful by the Jackson country club
Once on 20 between Jax and Meridian a nice buck struggling busted up in the right lane
Trooper was already there
He asked right away if I was heeled
I said yep I’ve got a model 28 .357 in my Subaru wagon kind of like yours sir but with pachmayers
lol me a Subaru funny isn’t it
Anyhow he said go fetch cause I can’t discharge my weapon for this
I did and I fired off towards the shoulder it being a concrete interstate and he stopped traffic
We dragged it off to the side of the road and some guys stopped immediately to coping saw the mast
Same thing in belle Meade in Nashville about 8!years ago a big buck with the cop watching
Mexicans got that boy for dinner
Mercy kills and first on scene for sometimes tragic wrecks are fairly common when you drive 75-125k annually
(BTW: I turned around to go back and dispatch the cat, but in that 30 seconds or so it had already expired.)
I want to watch that for a lot longer than I should.
LOL! I know what you mean. The brain can't process what you're looking at right away. Then when it hits you it's like, "So THAT'S what they look like not all cooked and browned." :)
Yup. I drive up and down 81 and 70 alot. In one farmer's field not too far north of Hagerstown there is a herd of about 20 of them that just peck the dirt right next to the highway, as brazen as you please.
Near Maugansville, by chance?
It really needs Pop Goes The Weasel added as a soundtrack.
The suspense would be grotesquely awesome.
The original cat video, that is.
/hard to keep track on a phone in a car
:)
Actually I do believe it is :) Definitely south of the PA line.
Ask Slings and Arrows if he can do that. That would be fun.
Possible space alien connection.
I figured it was either there or right over the line at Marion, PA.
You see the craziest things in that stretch of highway.
:D
Slings, put Pop Goes The Weasel to the original video, please.
Yay!
I’ll be waking up screaming, tonight.
I bushwhacked my first gobbler near Bude Mississippi
I heard him about 100 yards away and got low and looked down the pipeline rightaway and the he was...showboating
I zapped him
About 70 yards
Number two BB
old Browning autoloader 12 full choke
I don’t u can use that shell anymore
LMFAO!!!
You make a great evil henchman.
:D
Glad to help.
Do you work biker bars?
Himself has gotten wise to the punchlines I feed him, so *I* don’t get my ass kicked.
:D
Strictly a songwriter. Long-term goal is for other people to get their asses kicked while I collect royalties.
