Bizarre video of turkeys circling dead cat goes viral

RANDOLPH, Mass. (AP) — A bizarre scene of a group of wild turkeys walking in a circle around a dead cat was caught on video by a Massachusetts man who perhaps best described it: an attempt to give the feline its 10th life.

Jonathan Davis came across the fowl play in the Boston suburb of Randolph Thursday. He posted a video on Twitter that he says was viewed a half million times by the late afternoon.

The recording shows what appears to be 17 turkeys circling the cat.

A gruesomely hit boxer in front of a beautiful mom and her kids in a rich part of town

I had her shield the kids and wrapped the dog in a old blanket and put it in the back of their Benz

It was awful by the Jackson country club

Once on 20 between Jax and Meridian a nice buck struggling busted up in the right lane

He asked right away if I was heeled

Anyhow he said go fetch cause I can’t discharge my weapon for this

I did and I fired off towards the shoulder it being a concrete interstate and he stopped traffic

We dragged it off to the side of the road and some guys stopped immediately to coping saw the mast

Same thing in belle Meade in Nashville about 8!years ago a big buck with the cop watching

Mexicans got that boy for dinner

Mercy kills and first on scene for sometimes tragic wrecks are fairly common when you drive 75-125k annually

I was driving with my gf once and ended up mercy killing a doe that had been hit and mangled. I didn't have a gun, I used my hunting knife. What a mess! No nookie for me that night.

(BTW: I turned around to go back and dispatch the cat, but in that 30 seconds or so it had already expired.)

I came face to face with a turkey in Calvary cemetery in Maspeth, Queens, NY. Truely a WTH moment.

LOL! I know what you mean. The brain can't process what you're looking at right away. Then when it hits you it's like, "So THAT'S what they look like not all cooked and browned." :)

Locals brought them in for hunting, by the hundreds. They’re all over RT 70, flattened. The state has been ripping out all the underbrush in the wooded medians along 70 and everything that was sheltering in it is now freaked out and confused. I swung onto the eastbound exit the other day and young tom was running aimlessly in circles, right in the middle of the road. I blew the horn and spooked it up over the hill in the median, before somebody could run over it. Last fall, a flock of them went marching up the lane, past my house like some weird parade.

Yup. I drive up and down 81 and 70 alot. In one farmer's field not too far north of Hagerstown there is a herd of about 20 of them that just peck the dirt right next to the highway, as brazen as you please.
