Dogs aren't as honest and obedient as they might like to have us think.

We think we're in control but new research shows that dogs can be very deceptive - especially when it involves them getting an extra sausage.

Yep. We do the same thing. Go is the key though. Go could be followed by anything. Doesn’t matter; he goes nuts. He’s starting to learn that BP means Bark Park. OMG.. he starts dancing a whining like a little girl. If he could squeal, he would. In the car on the way there he shakes so much, I fear he’ll vibrate into another plane of existence.

Saw a show regarding this. Yes, they do understand words, but are masters at reading body language almost to the point of reading minds.

They pretend otherwise but dogs and cats are in on it together.

Anyone who owns a German Shorthair Pointer already knows this!

I adopted one a year ago, and learned this in short order.

My 10 lbs Lhasa Apso can not handle bones! She chokes on them. All she gets is ground beef and scrambled eggs in small quantities. I can set my clock with her bowel movement habits. She has never needed to visit a vet in 13 years. Never been sick, not even stomach upset. She gets daily walk of about a mile.
