Key words: “that COULD HAVE caused...”

Speculation.

Can the CIA hack planes in-flight?

I don’t see how any judge can allow it to go forward without the plane being discovered. Although, on the list of 100 factors...I might rate this in the top ten.

I think it will be tossed for lack of evidence.

Could have? How about finding the evidence? Could have been an alien death ray too.

They need to sue Islam.

This is a stupid, frivolous lawsuit. It should be rejected, and the people filing it should be fined the costs of responding, plus punitive damages. To sue over “maybe someone did something, although we have no idea what” is grossly immoral, even for a lawyer.

“Boeing also didn’t use available technology on its 777 planes that would have allowed them to be tracked at all times and made the flight and cockpit voice recorders easier to find, the lawsuit says. “

IIRC, it was the airline that declined to pay for this service.

Using this logic, Ford should get sued if I decide not to pay for anti-lock brakes, and get hurt as a result.

Unless they’ve found the AC, I don’t see how they can bring a suit.

I am not an aviation guy,

but for a plane that entered service in 1995 and was, until recently considered the safest plane in the sky, this lawsuit appears to be numskullery.

The plane was carrying a pallet of lithium batteries, the kind that have been known to outgas, overheat, catch fire and explode in certain situations. They were in the forward cargo hold, very close to the main power bus and forward electronics bay where the “brains” of the aircraft were located.

But the real problem was Islam or Boeing.......

“It came as families of the missing passengers and officials marked Wednesday’s third anniversary of the Boeing 777’s crash”

CRASH? WHERE? Were there any survivors? What do the orange “black boxes” say? How many bodies were recovered? Where did they find the plane?

I know they “SAY”/”CLAIM” to have found wreckage, could be “manufactured” evidence, I don’t buy it.

Hey, in LOST they faked a whole plane crashed on the bottom of the ocean with all passengers dead, still in their seats.

I know it wasn’t REAL, but it does go to show how the human mind works and can give real life people, “ideas”.

No doubt the plaintiffs’ attorneys plan to call Miss Cleo as a witness.

What? Miss Cleo is deceased?

All the better for the plaintiffs’ attorneys - that will make it even harder for the defendants’ attorneys to cross examine her testimony.

This is ludicrous. There is no evidence that there is a specific cause. Just an ambulance chaser looking for deep pockets.

With no evidence.

Boing had better sue the lawyers filing this case for malfeasance for several billions of dollars.
