When the two were married, Andrea Heming worked as a maid at a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip...She has family ties to Mexico, her husband said. She's probably in Mexico.

I hope they capture and imprison this criminal, but I think the real story here is that there's apparently a man who has been able to live for months through a poison that's actually strong enough to kill cockroaches - the one creature that will supposedly rule the earth after a nuclear war or the inevitable zombie apocalypse. This is one tough dude. It works on cockroaches because they clean their skin and thus inject it, but it is relatively safe for humans (not using it as sugar though). And it is not the same as Borax, which some scaremongers make it to be.

I had no idea boric acid was that dangerous. When I was a kid, we always had some around to make eyewash if you had an eye-stye. Boric acid is often used as an insecticide and can be very effective at controlling cockroaches, as well as small ants. However, in humans, boric acid is only slightly more toxic than table salt.
So, how is boric acid able to kill cockroaches, when it is only slightly more toxic than table salt?
The short answer is that boric acid affects the body of an insect much differently than it does a human or other mammal.
This does not mean that boric acid is safe for humans or animals to consume though, but only that it takes less boric acid to kill insects.
When considering the comparison of boric acid to table salt, it is important to remember that many of the things we regularily eat are actually toxic if consumed in excess. For example, caffeine is almost 14 times more toxic to humans than boric acid. - https://dengarden.com/pest-control/boric-acid-toxicity-table-sale-insecticide-sugar
But i think the EPA would like to require one to be a licensed PCO to use it.

And; so far; we've gotten nothing but SILENCE from the TRUMP Administration as well!

She tried to get Captain Crunch to do it, but he wasn’t THAT much of a flake. Then she approached Tony the Tiger, and he said “GRRRRRREAT!”, but never showed up. So she figured General Mills would help her, but he refused to leave his Post. She Chex out Count Chocula, but he only works at night, and her husband insisted on eating breakfast in the mornings. Only then, did she ask Uncle Sam, but he told her if she’d eat more fiber, she wouldn’t be so miserable, and want to play those kinds of Trix on her husband. She told him she was just doing it for Kix, anyway. Finally, she remembered her Lucky Charms had helped her meet her husband in the first place, and she was tired of waiting for the pot of gold he’d promised her, so she fell for that magical leprechaun, but since he’s got Oatmeal for brains, he got mixed up, and told her to put salt on his tail. So, she filled the sugar bowl up with boric acid, because she had never learned her Alphabits, and, as they say, that’s Life!
