In all of the "only in Texas" moments, this sight at a Baytown Buc-ee's may take the cake.
As seen in the viral video on Facebook, Josh Wilson captured a limousine hauling a Starcraft Marine boat at Buc-ee's.
Yes, an awkward sight.
"It caught me off guard for a second, but then I thought to myself heck yeah that's what I'm talking about," Wilson told ABC13.
From a crawfish using its local Buc-ee's to make a grand 'escape,' to the rest stop being named the best in America, you can't escape Buc-ee's!
“Older limos are cheap. Guy probably couldnt afford a nice pickup.”
Yeah. I need a garden truck to haul dirt and stuff from around the house. I have found that I can buy an old Crown Vic and take the back seat out a lot cheaper than an old truck and it is in better condition and will pull as big a trailor. It is tempting.
Me too! :)
I’d expect a nice ski boat at least. Or maybe a Hell’s Bay flats boat.
I had an acquaintance haul my 18’ boir to the Colorado River with a Rolls Royce.
Gotta love Buc-ee’s!
I once saw an old clunker in Texas, mostly primer paint and a bumper sticker that said PROUD TO BE UNION.
Also saw a clunker with a bumper sticker that said MADE IN MEXICO BY MEXICANS. That was in the early 70s. It told the future.
“I saw a Harley with 4 sacks of concrete strapped to the back seat.”
Counter weights to offset when the big b**ch is not on the back.
I thought it would a ski boat not a pontoon.
I saw an old pickup bed that was converted into a trailer hitched by a pickup last week here in San Antonio so yes you will see things in Texas you won’t see anyplace else.
1992 Peterbilt with an 11 cy McNeilus mixer on it.
Pontoon boats have a lot more deck space than a regularly hulled boat. Very good for fly fishing or parties.
I have an ‘86 Ford Ranger longbox trailer that I tow with my F350 longbox crewcab.
900 ponies on a toon! LOL!
These days, a toon can do both. https://youtu.be/7DdnKCG5nRw
Holy moly
A real party machine.
Wow
Yea, I had a chance to drive one up at show at WaWasee. There’s, a joystick for low speed maneuvering. Independently directed engines. The thing will easily turn within its own length. Docking... LOL... forward, left, right, back. You can get up to 350HP Motors (2 place) or triple 300’s three place.
Only boat you need. Not as young as we used to be, and yea, having a “go fast” is a lot of fun. But for a single boat to meet all your needs; these aren’t your father’s toons.
